Get Organized November Checklist
____ Nov 1 Daylight Saving Time Ends. If you didn’t already
do that before bed last night, move your clocks back one
hour. Now is also a good time to change the batteries in
your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.
____ Nov 2 Put up bird feeders in your yard. In addition to
a seed mix rich in sunflower seeds, hang suet blocks when
below freezing temperatures hit.
____ Nov 3 Clean out your medicine cabinet. Get rid of
expired medications (check with your pharmacist for safe
disposal instructions) and replenish your supply of cotton
swabs and cotton balls, along with bandages and first aid
creams.
____ Nov 4 If you haven’t already, switch out your summer
clothing. It’s time to pack those away and dig out the cold
weather wardrobe. Before packing away the summer clothes,
make sure they are clean and repaired. It will save you
steps in the spring.
____ Nov 5 Move your house plants closer to windows to
maximize their exposure to the sun. Don’t forget to scale
back on the amount of watering and fertilizer that you use
as their growth slows.

Christmas Music
I think this is the third time I have updated this list for the holidays...now, while you are enjoying the music...think about all the things in life that are free and just sooo great! Enjoy!
Saving tips
I just saw a couple tips on Clark Howard's show regarding sales at Costco and Sam's Club. Clark says walk around the store at Sam's Club and look for pricing that ends in 1 cent, such as $14.31, that means it has really been marked down and is a good buy, if you need it. Costco does the same thing but uses 7 cents, such as $14.37.
Clark also gave a tip about using razors (not electric). A gentleman e-mailed Clark that he uses one razor every 6 months. Clark says make sure you dry the razor after each use as it is the moisture that causes deterioration of the razor, not the shaving.
I saw on SeniorDiscounts.com this morning that Ross Stores offers a 10% discount to seniors every Tuesday. This is much better than having just a one-day-a-month discount that some stores or grocery stores offer.

Happy to Hear Good Reports
I feel good knowing just about everyone had a good time this week. It was nice to catch up on everyone, since I've been out of action with my friend fibromyalgia for the past two weeks.
Good Morning - Squeakers!

Sassysatin sent me the following and it seemed like some good things to thinkabout today as daily thoughts!
1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay 'them'
2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.
3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain idle. 'An idle mind is the devil's workshop.'
4. Enjoy the simple things.
5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.
6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person, who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.
7. Surround yourself with what you love, whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.
8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
9. Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.
10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.
AND ALWAYS REMEMBER :
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. (a quote by George Carlin...)
But do share this with someone.
We all need to live life to its fullest each day!!
Worry about nothing, pray about everything!!!
Any one of these you are going to try to do?? Any oneof these you need to do more?
Good Morning, Squeakers

Today, we are all planning something - hopefully a day with with family and friends. But even if you choose to be alone...be safe and know I am thinking of all of my Eons friends.
I wish all the Squeakers a Happy Thanksgiving. The following is from Dumb Little Man archives...
20 Fun Things... You Can Do with Family on Thanksgiving
We all know some of the favorite things people like to do on Thanksgiving: watch football, watch The Macy's Day Parade, and of course taking a nap after gorging on Turkey.
Well the purpose of this article is to inspire everyone who reads it to turn off the TV (web, video games) for part of the day and really spend some quality time with your friends and family. You'll have fun doing it and you'll create fun, fond memories.
1. Take a Walk. Pick an enjoyable destination. All you need to bring are your sneakers and conversation! Or you could join a Thanksgiving road race or road walk.
The rest in first reply
HOLIDAY
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU ALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!
