death
sun shines brilliantly through gleaming, shortening icicle
killing it softly in its beams
a conspiracy of painfully, exquisitely beautiful,
active, sparkling death
making a mockery of
drab, pathetic life.

Fun with a few words today. I thought I'd share. :)
Laundry Day
Where does it come from?
The hamper overflowing,
Let’s just go naked!

Welcome Glenda
Great to see you! Hope
you like our Group.
It may be just you and me;
hope that doesn't throw you
into madness, consternation
and regret.

I'm the new guy
Greetings everyone! I've been writing for about for about thirteen (13) years, but I'm just starting to dabble in poetry.

The end of eternity
I have been unable to post for awhile was confined to the bed for a couple of weeks, and when I bought my computer last year I made the mistake of getting a desktop instead of a laptop. This is the first poem I have written in awhile. Every year about this time my mind wanders back to the past where I wish it would stay away from, for it fills me with sadness and loss. I find writing my feeling down in words it is bringing them out in the open so I have to deal with them and not keep them in the back of my mind to haunt me when I sleep.
The end of eternity
I lay here quietly with eyes closed,
wondering what is keeping you,
where have you gone,
holding back the tears,
the fears,
wanting answers,
As loneliness consumes me,
like the fire of passion
Once did.
my mind is treading
where those memories lie,
when happiness was a given,
and life would go on for an eternity,
But eternity was only a second,
and than you had gone,
yet I lie her and dream,
knowing you won’t be back
tears overflowing my world
grief over taking fear,
Loneliness is my fate,
With passion ashes and dust.

Now That I Can Do What I Want
What should I do? The sky is
still blue. The motives of morning
dissipate
to night.
Nothing is better
than silence.

Eons Poetry Spacing Tip
I've received a private note which suggests typing:
alt + 0160 > alt release
I will try this one time on the next line.
There! you see, I have a space.
Now a second space.
And a third.
