I was sad to read that George Carlin has died. I do agree he was probably one of the best and smartest comedians to ever rule the earth.

Carlin was such a witty man. I remember seeing his show in Atlanta many years ago and he was as outstanding live as he was in his video's.

He will be greatly missed by many fans. He paved the way for various younger comics.

It really is a jungle out there. I'm sorry to post that Monk's Psychiatrist on the show has died of a heart attack at the age of 65.

"LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Stanley Kamel, who played Adrian Monk's long-suffering psychiatrist on the TV detective show "Monk," has died. He was 65.

Stanley Kamel had roles on a number of shows, most recently "Monk."

Kamel was found dead Tuesday of a heart attack in his Hollywood Hills home by his agents, publicist Cynthia Snyder said."

I wonder how they will work this loss into the series, maybe have Monk investigate his death or just replace his role.

Does anyone have any feelings to date on this season's AI?

I found the talent at the pick of the 24 much better when comparing it with the last few years.

I do wish they would show more singing during the first few shows instead of all the bad auditions but I guess it makes for good TV.

Simon is much softer this season too but I must admit he is usually a good judge on the talent.

Can't wait to keep up with the show and the singers.

Sher, please tell me this is a rumor or that Beth T.H. has stopped dating John Ramsey? Say it isn't so....Please. You know I study crime and I was aghast when I found out this odd couple has gotten together. I posted the note below on my Crime Forum. I would like to know if you heard any further tidbits Sher?

I heard this from three sources. One stated it was in this weeks Enquirer, another was posted on a crime forum, and I saw it on a gossip forum. (yes, this one of course)

I just pray it isn't so, but it has been confirmed to date. I think Beth has better taste than this but to each his own. I do believe John covered up for Patsy in Jon Benet's death so Beth may not be familiar with what took place in the case or believes him to be completely innocent of any crime.
Those of us that studied this case in depth believe that Patsy wrote the ramsom note and is responsible for the heinous death of her daughter and John was an accessory by covering for her. I would hate to see Beth involved with him.

Since Beth is now going through more trauma due to the fact that investigators have been searching the properties of the main suspects in her daughter Natalees disappearance, this would be very heartbreaking.

What do you all think? Anyone read any news on this? I'm sure Beth is very lonely. Also, I heard John is now a child advocate. Took him long enough to take this platform!

Actually, I also heard they did meet at a fundraiser so I'm not sure if they are actually dating.

Thanks for the Dylan update Ms. Sher. I almost forgot about the upcoming movie. I did see him a few times in concert but have not had the pleasure of meeting him. I can't wait to see Richard Gere playing Dylan. Boy, the times have really changed. I knew I could count on you for all the latest news.

Ah, and Ringo....What a sweetie. Saw him in Atlanta too but did not get an introduction. BOO HOO. You are so lucky. Yet, I do have a mini skirt (many) and will travel!! Spill it babe, what's he really like?
