The wisest choice (a little humor)

A guy is 71 years old and loves to fish. He was sitting in his boat the
other day when he heard a voice say, "Pick me up." He looked around and
couldn't see any one. He thought he was dreaming when he heard the voice
say again, "Pick me up." He looked in the water and there, floating on the
top, was a frog. The man said, "Are you talking to me?" The frog said,
"Yes, I'm talking to you. Pick me up. Then, kiss me and I'll turn into the
most beautiful woman you have ever seen. I'll make sure that all your
friends are envious and jealous because you will have me as your bride."
The man looked at the frog for a short time, reached over, picked it up
carefully, and placed it in his front breast pocket. Then the frog said,
"What, are you nuts? Didn't you hear what I said? I said kiss me and I will
be your beautiful bride." He opened his pocket, looked at the frog and
said, "Nah, at my age I'd rather have a talking frog."

This group needs new manager!

Hi all - - this group's manager is no longer active in this group. Anyone feel like stepping up and getting it going again? There's lots of RV groups on Eons, so either we can close this down and migrate everyone to other groups, or you can PM me if you are interested in getting this going again!

New member saying "HI"!

Hello, I just joined the group and look forward to being a contributor. On Tuesday I will be looking at a 1986 Dodge extended van conversion- with roof air, new brakes, cabinets, extended roof, all curtains...and so on. This older van may be just the way to get started in the "sport". Honestly, I'm looking forward to it! I'll keep everybody up-to-date on all the action. Please travel safe. Will return soon.

Reply to several of you

Just joined. Own a 13 ft. Scamp, which I love. Go as often as I can. Live in Florida near the beaches. Took my first trip without another adult present recently and it went well, had two little munchkins along for the ride. Hoping to make friends who won"t laugh at my little home away from homeand share lots of info like favorite campgrounds. Anyone close enough, we could start a camping club! Of course, I know you all want to come to the beach, so you don't really have to be close. Just come on down. We have lots of interesting things to do close by so I don't have to go far. I have camped in other states too. Enough about me, til next time. Camperbabe

Just getting through winter

Hi All
My husband and I put our "Girl" to bed at the end of September. We use the winter months to save up time for our May to September jaunts. So far we have only traveled here in Colorado due to time restraints but there is a rustic campground that is only 30 minutes from us where we can go for the weekend and we go every chance we get. My husband is a diehard fisherman so when we have the time we try to get a campground near a river. We have a Class A and don't tow a vehicle but there are a lot of places with river sites. We are not into the group activities of some places just like to enjoy the serenity and beauty that we see. I am putting together an album and doing a journal of our jaunts to help get us through these cold winter months.
So for everyone out there Happy Holidays and keep RVing.
Vicki
