Welcome to the Retire Where? Group
Whether you are just starting to think about places to retire or you are at maybe the end of your journey, this group wants your input. Either helping newbies to the journey or listening to the voices of experience, please give us your thoughts and questions.
Below are some hopefully, helpful links. Eons Money Editors are also on the lookout for more links and info for the future.
Realtors and solicitors are not allowed to post website links in this group. There is a Realtors group and an Eons Marketplace group that you may want to check out and post your links and ads there. You are more than welcome to suggest to group members to visit your sites in those groups.
Welcome all new and older(?:) members, ask questions, comment on links, relate your experiences, start discussions; whatever you would like to do in good taste and with courtesy to all.
Thanks and Welcome!!

Banner picture for the group
New feature (don't ask me what I think about new features); however, this one is pretty cool, so I just threw one up there.
What would y'all like as a banner photo for the group?

See link - I've gotten AARP magazine, etc. for 8 years now and didn't know about some of these programs - has anyone tried any of them?

Hi - I'm new here!
I joined your group to get information on retiring away from one's home. It may be wishfull thinking on my part, but I did enjoy reading many of your posts last night. I have always been a teacher, but my husband has always been a farmer (actually I helped in that endeavor also). One of our sons is taking over one of our farms now, but my husband would like to help as much as he is able. This doesn't leave a lot of time for retiring somewhere else. I'm interested in some good places in Florida to perhaps rent a condo for about two weeks to see how we like it. I would want to be close to the ocean or the gulf. We have been to Sannibel Island, St. Pete, and Orlando. Also, we have young grandchildren that we would hate to leave. How do you all handle that, or does't it bother you? Thanks for any help you can give me. P.S. This summer I stayed at Hatteras Island, NC with my sister and family for a week. The ocean was beautiful there and even better at Ocracoke Island--a great place to take pictures which I am interested in.
Happy Birthday MJBRUT
Tomorrow on Friday - have a great one and thanks for being a great moderator for the group!!!

I have no idea why this didn't post the first time this morning - anyway, see what you think and I will use this to replace the 2007 link posted in the group's announcement as soon as EONS stops changing things - sheesh :(
