This Reiki site has been permeated recently by a number of members from The HEATHEN group and also a few from The Hippie group posting harassing , vulgar remarks that are angry and derogatory in nature and have tried to make this site a battleground for a member who had issues here . Being that I have not responded appears to make them even more angry.
Therefore, any postings or replies from these people will be DELETED.
Whenever, you see the term "Deleted by the Administrator" it is due to their continuous harassing remarks.
I am sure that eventually this "game" will end and they will move on to someone else or to doing something more productive .
I am sorry for any postings/ remarks that are left here before I have a chance to rid the site of them.

Reiki under attack
Hi all - I am a former member of Eons who just rejoined for the purpose of warning the members of the various Reiki groups of an unsettling development. Apparently, even though there are many Catholic practitioners of Reiki, including nuns, the US Catholic bishops have decided Reiki somehow undermines the Catholic faith and are now actively discouraging Catholics from giving or receiving Reiki.

Greetings. I just joined the group and am hoping for a close fellowship with fellow Reiki practitioners. I am a level one, and sadly, have not recently been implementing Reiki routinely. I want to get back into having Reiki in my day to day life. In the past I have used it on several people with positive results. I have also practiced on several of my animals; horses, goats, dogs and cats, and am aware of what a powerful healing tool this is.
I was recently offered a level two attunment, but I want to be practicing my level one regularily before I move on. I'm hoping for support in this group and am excited to be a part of it.

Timeline Reiki
Greetings! I recently did a timeline Reiki on a young woman. I have used this before but her description afterwards was new to me. She described her timeline as having colors, most notably the present and future as being green. Does this correlate with the Chakra colors maybe or is there another explanation? Thanks for the input.

Reiki for Weather (Jan. 17th)

Reiki Request
I am requesting Reiki for my friend Edward Hudson Rice. He badly hurt his leg in a fall two weeks ago. The tendon may be broken above his right patella and he may have torn the ligament from the muscle of his thigh. This 65-year-old man has also fallen twice since the initial injury. His pain is excruciating. Doctors are not yet sure if his leg will heal. It could take a year if it does.

Past and Future of an Ancient Healing Practice

Hands-on healing, also known as Reiki, Energy, Radiant or Spiritual Healing, has been practiced by many cultures for thousands of years. In Greek mythology, Chiron, the wise Centaur, taught Asclepius, the God of Medicine, hands-on healing. This practice was so revered that Grecian statues of Asclepius were made with gold-gilt hands, celebrating the power of touch to heal. This was also the source of the caduceus, modern medicine's symbol of healing and the word Chi-ergy, which evolved into surgery. Later, in Christianity, we are told countless stories of Christ's ability to heal using the laying-on-of- hands. Jesus further told his disciples in John 14:12: "... he who believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do..." Humankind was truly given a profound legacy in Hands-On Healing.
