How professional does one need to be to fit in here? Do you accept serious amateurs at prose who have known occasional publication? For over a decade I have enjoyed writing and have honed that talent in a very active local critique group. I would love to share in a meeting of the Muses here if it could benefit us all.

My name is Barbara White and I am a writer and photographer. I guess I am what they call an essayist. I have had a number of humorous essays and travelogues published in magazines around the country.
Lately I have turned to photography and I love that too.
I taught school for twenty years and raised three children when I was younger. Now I enjoy my grown children and five small grandchildren.
