canadian immigration
i would like to ose a question to this group. reading the past bits on "illegals" entering this coutry and knowing of the system/set up for legal immigration. one being that there is a "lottery" set up whereby citizens of another country can enter this "lottery" and if chosen get to immigrate to the US as part of the sending country's allowed quota. simple. yes?
then the question is why is Canada denied a part in this lottery system? true, canadians can apply for passports, visas, green cards, etc as anyone else but they can not and do not have access to this "lottery" set up. i have a few canadian friends that are puzzled by this.
did they do something wrong? is it racial or ethnic predjudice. can someone enlighten me and them?
