PD has been described as one of the most open and fair of all political groups on EONS.
We have very simple rules:

Oprah to Interview Palin
The Mighty O will have The Mighty P on her show Nov. 16, in connection with the release of Palin's book, Going Rogue.
Now that Palin's no longer governor, and not running for anything, she's taking up Winfrey's invitation extended after the election. It'll be interesting to see how Palin presents herself on the show.
Is this anything you'll tune in to see or tape?

Scapegoats
In another group someone claimed George W Bush was a “scapegoat”. With that in mind, let's catalog the drivers that have created this Recession, and make sure we agree when these collective actions happened.
Economic Downturn ???
What did we learn from the savings and loan scandal? Other than Charles Keating did less than five years for the disappearance of a half a trillion dollars. The financial institutions took the tax payers for 144 billion? They learned they can get away with it and this time it was close to a trillion and a lot of that went to bonuses of the execs of those companies too big to fail. This is a free market?
This is nothing short treason. Those institutions made loans they knew could never be paid back. Then they bundled those mortgages and sold them on the international markets. To hedge their bets they gave three to five years before the piper was to be paid giving them ample time to sell off and get clear of the consequences.
We have been had folks some of us have been double whammy'd some folks lost their homes and they pay the taxes that went to the bailouts. Unfortunately our children and grandchildren will be paying this debt for decades to come.
They took the american dream and turned it into the worst nightmare imaginable. Our economic health is founded and grounded in the housing market.
They, the wall street crowd, knew it, and did it anyway because they are the largest lobby in the country and too big to fail...
Its premeditated treason folks and we've been had....like the S&L scandal 99% of the politicians are bought and paid for. Geko said it "Greed is Good"

Kill ACORN so Halliburton can rape it's women
Well, the Repugnant ones made sure ACORN doesn't get funded, but vote to make sure Halliburton employees will sign a waiver so they can be gang raped ..... but can't sue.
I can't wait for these miserable old white people to die and come back as rape victims.

US General Builds A Palestinian Army

In my humble opinion this is a smart move. Not only is the new Palestinian "Army" training coordinated with Israeli Defense Forces -- and working in concert with them to the benefit of Palestinians -- the US is arming and supporting Palestinian Defense as well as Israel’s.
Of course it could backfire but lets all hope it doesn’t.

Ah, Palin/Johnson Wars!
Levi Johnson, demonstrating that he is one of those Americans with a 2,000 word vocabulary, hinted in the style typical of a middle school student, that there are other things he might say about his almost mother-in-law. The former governor of Alaska (what sort of macha woman quits?) issued a statement that one who listens to the little boy should "consider the source."
Right!
Right!
My kid's more conservative than your kid ...
The moderate (R) contender for upper NYS House Race has bowed out to extremist conservativism.
Newt Gingrich claims it's a stupid move that will keep Pelosi (D-CA) in power forever.
The moderates are losing to the conservatives in the Republican Party -- is this a good thing or a bad thing?

The last in our lifetime
The remaining ice fields atop famed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania could be gone within two decades and perhaps even sooner, based on the latest survey of the ice fields remaining on the mountain. The findings indicate a major cause of this ice loss is very likely to be the rise in global temperatures.
Lieberman Won't Filibuster After All
A week after declaring that he would help a Republican filibuster of Democrat-sponsored health-care legislation if there were a public option, Senator Joe Lieberman (I-CT) has apparently signaled privately to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) that he will not block a vote.
Sources told The Hill that Lieberman has affirmed that he will vote with Democrats to end the debate, and his threat of filibuster is likely a tactic to "get some stuff for himself"—or his constituents, including several major insurance companies based out of Connecticut. Democrats want Lieberman's support because it likely represents the necessary 60th vote that would end debate in the Senate, and many supporters of health-care reform say that he will vote with Democrats when the time comes, despite his statements to the contrary. Says Reid, simply: "I trust Sen. Joe Lieberman."
Do you?
