And before you yell, "STOP, THIEF!" please know that I cleared this with our group Manager and in fact, it was his suggestion that I post this in the group.
As we are all well aware, this group has not been active for eons (pun intended). Most of the active Eons members in this group are also members of The Grand Canyon State - People, Places and Things group, where we ARE active and keep in touch.
However, if you're still interested in being part of a SINGLES group, I'd like to invite you to take a look at The Singles Oasis view link and see if you'd like to join us. It's a fairly new group (since November) of over-40 singles.
Granted, we're not an Arizona based group, so the chances of getting together in real time are slim, so if that's what you're interested in, I would suggest the Grand Canyon State Group, where we do get together occasionally.

Encanto Park Picnic
Everyone come and enjoy everyone's company along with the Grand Canyon State's Group picnic in Encanto Park on 11/14/09. This is a re-post if you do not belong to that group. There is an interesting seminar being held in a church group I belong to in Phoenix, Az. If anyone is interested and also lives in the East Valley, please contact me and I'll give you the scoop. There is a potluck that starts at 6, the talk is at 7 usually for 1 1/2-2 hours. Thanks

Sheila, welcome to the group. But, having said that, I'm sure you have read the "recent" posts and realize that we're not very active anymore. Most of our members are also members of The Grand Canyon State - People Places & Things Group, and I know you joined that also. That group is more active. But until this group is either reactivated by participation, or officially "closed", which Eons is not wont to do with a group, I WELCOME you to the fold!

Volunteer Needed.
Does anyone want to take over being Manager?
I really have not been doing a very good job keeping things going on this Group since AJgirl and myself been going together.
I think it would be a much better place if someone else took over as Manager and possibly take the group into being more active online group. As always I would help in any way that I could.
So is there any volunteer?

With the amount of time that I don't have anymore between work and remodeling I have decided that I don't have the time that I need to give to all my groups. Since Joe and I are now engaged and getting married next year, I no longer feel single. Since most of the people in this group are also in the AZ group, I have decided to drop this group. I will still keep in touch with those I have gotten to know and will see you at the gatherings with the AZ group. Thanks all. Kate
When Are We Going To Have Our Next Picnic?
So, Rock Springs is over. The good weather is just about here for us. When are we going to have another picnic? Let's do it in March sometime. Anyone have any ideas.
