groups

I'll admit, I spend a lot of time playing games, but very little time on this group. As anyone can see, that's not unusual. Most of the games I play are Web based, where I interact with other live players, so It's not as though I never discuss the games, so it seems to me that the lack of activity here has less to do with level of interest, and more to do with the fact that most of us are playing DIFFERENT games.

I am therefore thinking of trying to leverage some of the new functionality that Eons now provides for groups, and I would like to hear from as many people as possible on this. I can start a thread for each game people are playing, and make those threads stickies. All messages about that particular game would go in that thread.

Another idea I'd like to toss out, is the possibility of forming an Eons Guild or Alliance, and then have the Guild pick a game we can all join at once, and share the learning experience.

The games I'm currently playing, (and I've been trying to cut down) are:
OGame (also known as OCrack because it's so addictive)
Travian (#1 online game of 2007)
Ikariam
Wild Guns
Dark Throne

I have tried my hands at a few games - Myst, WoW and some others, but I am truly, completely and forever addicted to Diablo. So addicted in fact, that although I need a new PC - I am putting off purchasing it until they release the system requirements for Diablo III. And here's the deep ugly secret...I have never finished the game....I get to the brink of it and I start a new game....I don't want to end the journey....I think I need psychiatrict help, lol. I am 45yo and I find nothing wrong with spending an evening with an adult beverage, Cain and the fiery remains of Tristram. I assume I am amongst friends?

Doesn't anyone in this group play WOW anymore? I have been searching the internet for fellow players, but, alas, there doesn't seem to be anyone. Oh, well, I guess I'm going to be a solo player for awhile.

(if anyone's still here) This group appears to be maybe dead or VERY slow.
I'm a long time computer gamer(55y.o.) who just recently started playing World of Warcraft(lvl.14). I'd love to talk this game(with adults) and tell what I've learned or get pointers from others.
If there's anyone here I'd love to chat game/games, or really most any P.C. game and/or anything else you've a mind to. Although I'm REALLY looking for WoW talk.

I'm a little disappointed that I can't find anyone on this site to play WOW with. I've been playing since last year, and I have four characters, one Hunter, lvl 80 and one DK, lvl 80 on Eitrigg, one lvl 80 DK on Grizzly Hills, one lvl 56 DK on Teranis, and a new mage, lvl 9, on Grizzly Hills. Someone on this forum recently suggested that it would be a good idea to start an EONS Guild. I'm waiting for that. Come one, people, this is an awesome game.

Does anyone in this group play online multiplayer games? I currently play World of Warcraft (WoW) but have played most games.

If you have never tried one of these games, you should! Good for the brain and alot of social interaction with other players.

lol as if i am not guilty as charged...heheh
anyway left WOW several months ago in disgust. after myself and all my guild working for months to gather the materials and finally getting my mechano-hogg to jump off TB cliffs etc...found that the patch a few days before had nerfed the fall protection and turned my chopper into an ordinary "vehicle". i was crushed.
haven't played WOW since...
Found a game that has (for the most part) a more mature player base and i think a more customer orientated management. My wife and i are playing Lord of the Rings Online and have not had any bad experiences in several months. We play on the Brandywine server and would be glad to see any fellow eonions ingame! I am usually playing "Brozu" and my wife usually plays "Jozu".

I am 65 years old and married but i have always loved games but (not really sounding like a 12 yr old)I don't have anyone to play with. A very good friend of mine died three years ago and so went my fellow game player. I really don't like crowds like meet-up groups at Borders,etc.. Anyone in the Raleigh area?
