It's PURPLE TIME!
Light lavender dutch iris, dark purple native Siberian iris, lilacs (usually not reliable here in WNC), mauve rhodies and azaelas, as well as soapwort, purple and white columbines, creeping purplse verbena, sage purple flowers. Red/purple lettuces, etc.
Last month was white and yellow month - daffs, cherry, dogwood and apple blossoms, tulips, daphne, etc.

Blueberries
Such a great, versatile plant!! Lovely flowers in spring, great berries (I have 6 bushes planted 3 years ago of different varieties) so are just now getting a decent harvest, and GREAT color in fall - a gorgeous red/orange depending on the bush. Favorite recipe is plain old blueberry pie or cobbler - sometimes mixed with other berries like blackberries or black raspberries :)
