Sunday Breakfast

I decided to serve you breakfast this morning and I hope the menu
will include something you like.

Starting off with coffee and juice.
Pancakes, cold cereal, toast, bagel, oatmeal.
Eggs anyway you like them and I will cook them with spray shortening.
Bacon, sausage, and I will drain the grease from them.
We have lots of different fruits because we all know how important fruit is to
our health.
And we mustn't forget some cold milk to go with it.

Since we are enjoying breakfast this way, I will be serving you breakfast on the deck overlooking the lake. We can watch the sunrise and listen to the birds as they wake up and are looking for their breakfast.
Oh, and yes I do have the Sunday paper close by so please sit back
and enjoy yourself.
Hugs to all,
Sandy

Moderators

MySpace Graphics

Ok we all know how important nutrition is and we could all use ideas.
We could use tips on good nutrition and how to maintain a healthy life style.
We all need help along the way.
I need moderators for the group. We can have 3.
One thing I would hate to see is this group just die for lack of interest and
moderators can help the manager and the members keep it alive.
Please if you would be interested let me know.
I realize I haven't been doing my part and have gotten behind and I'm truly sorry.
I'm going to try and do better.
Thank you and bless you,
Sandy

Hot Weather

Now that warmer weather is here and Summer is right around the corner
we all know how important it is to eat healthy and drink a lot of water.

Have you changed your eating habits any and if so how?

We are all getting outdoors more and starting to take long awaited vacations.
Do you eat out all the time when traveling or do you pack some food and eat in a park or some place else?
How much junk food do you eat in the car while traveling?

Sometimes we forget our health and just because we are on vacation we throw
caution to the wind and eat everything that's not that great for us then we come home step on the scale and wonder how do those extra pounds get there?
Please take care while enjoying yourself.

CELIAC DISEASE

I had surgery in Jan. 2009 to remove all of my small intestines and my small intestines was hooked up to my rectum, thus no bag. I am having some bad problems and I have been tested twice for celiac disease and both test have been negative; now I am being tested again....do you either have this disorder or know someone who does and if so, did they have problems getting a diagnosis? Thank you for your help!

Do You Find It Easy

to slip off the track of eating healthy?
You do great for a while then for no apparent reason
you are slipping back into the lousey eating habits
that aren't only unhealthy but also it starts adding
unwanted pounds and health issues to your life.

It seems to be easier to eat what isn't good for you
than to get into the habit of eating healthy......at least for me.
I feel someone needs to kick me in the behind and to remind
me that it's very important for me to watch what I eat because
diabetes isn't something to play around with.

Have a great day everyone.
Hugs, Sandy
