LOUD
I've been thinking about this lately...why, when we're in a band, so we feel the need to play so friggin' LOUD? We have a new guitarist, and he loves to crank up the volume so much I can barely hear my vocals. And we've all been in bars where we can't hear each other talk because the band is so loud. Why do we do this????

What Do You Feel When Your Playing Music?
Playing music with a top band can be like riding a large wave at the beach, when you hit that grove it just flows out of you like a rainbow of colors, nothing can touch the high you get and if you are at a concert with lots of people you can play notes you didn't know you had in you. You never want that feeling to end... OMG the love of music.

Libera - boys a cappella
The distinctive sound of Libera has travelled the world in the last several years. The group's albums have topped both mainstream and classical charts in many countries, including the USA and the UK, where the recording spent several weeks in the top three alongside Bocelli and Pavarotti. The talented singers of Libera come from a variety of different schools and backgrounds and join together at a church in South London, where they rehearse and perform for many hours each week. The youngest is seven. The oldest members are fourteen, but many remain to sing with the lower voices of the group. Take a listen in the first reply!
HOME FROM BURNING MAN!!!!
Hi gang! Just got back last night from a week in the desert at Burning Man....that festival of radical free expression you might have heard about. I think of it as Woodstock meets Survivor meets the Twilight Zone meets the Guggenheim. Of course one of my favorite moments had to do with music....I went with 3 friends, all singers, and we did an hour-long a cappella performance at center camp on their stage with a great sound system. And the audience was amazing! We did an encore of "Bohemian Rhapsody" which we do in full 4 part harmony, and the crowd went wild! Got a standing ovation!!!!! People came up to us all week, asking, "are you the group that did Bohemian Rhapsody?"
