There was just great music in all categories from the early 60's to early 70's. I was brought into it all like allot of people during the post Elvis,Beatle era. It was and still is the most fertile of creative times. I have taught my children that the social issues of the time,Vietnam,violence,civil rights,women's rights,etc...... fueled the energy to connect to the artists and the artists to the people. Without social platforms music is very shallow. There are many views on this from the beginning of recorded writings. A time to share feelings on the past,today,and our expectations for the future. One last comment is that I feel we should really start using music again to help us evolve into a better society and more goodness to share together.
