My perfect record has deminish
After bragging that I have never drop a bike in my life, has been spoiled. This week I was trying to get around a blocked intersection. I went on the grass and got stuck in the mud. As my bike was leaning to the right, so I put my foot down and it also slide in the mud. I came to a rest at about a 45 degree angle. It took 3 people to stand it back up because it kelp sliding.
I do have so good news the drought is over.

A graet way to start out the new year
It was too windy to fish today. Fishing is a new years tradition for me. So I went for a nice ride today. The high was around 60 and sunny. I did have to cover my citrus trees today. The night temps will dip in the mid 20's for the next two nights and then back to the 70's for the week end. I will fish the first week end of the year. Is that not a crazy winter? It's better then the 3 winters I spent in Indy.
The old and the new
Happy New Year to all!
I ended the old year with a ride that stated at 6 AM and 37degres. It warmed up unto the mid 60's and was sunny all day. Today the ride begin a little later in the day and be much shorter. I'll just go get some fuel and return and not ride for a couple of days. Because some you northern folks left the door open. By the week end we will be in the 60's and 70's again. Oh yes you enchanted snow land folks, The yellow snow is just frozen lemon aid. Eat and enjoy.

I put my bike on a stand a week ago to start getting it ready for a long ride. I am a daily rider and miss it greatly. I took the wheels to the shop last week to have new tires installed and balance. I checked today and they are not finish with it yet!
It's not all that bad, September and May are love Bug month and they are messy and hard to swallow. I excited about October the 1st, The bugs leave. Yea

Daily rider
I love somethings about the dry summer we are having on the Gulf Coast. I am able to ride everyday. Although I do ride in the rain, But I do prefer to ride dry. The heat is a factor now and hopefully it will cool a little soon. We have post pond our Natchez Trace ride until mid October because of the heat. It will give me time to put on the new tires, change the oil and tune up the wild hog. Happy rides from the "Iron Horse preacher"
