WHAT IS THE FUNNIEST MEMORY THAT YOU HAVE?
I think that we all have an embarrassing moment, a one of a kind memory that if we could we would have done it differently. What is yours?
Mine is when I tried to impress a very cute fifteen year old guy by wearing four inch spikes that I snuck out of my mother's closet. Well, I sashayed down the street - heart thumping as I saw him coming toward me. Oh, I was so very beautiful, he would just drop his school books and scoop me into his arms and tell me that he loved me. Well, that dream lasted about two minutes because as he neared, one of the heels broke and I fell flat on my behind! He started to laugh, and walked right by me. What a jerk and ugly too! LOL!!!

Question #17
It is about green stamps. There were a lot of different companies that tried to put stamps out The most popular was S.&H. green stamps. We just called them S&H stamps. I saved many, many stamps. It gets into your brain and just lurks in the back for years. One day I am looking at a cataloge that has free shiping. As I am looking at the individual idems I see S&H free. What come out of the dark receases of my mind. "Oh when did they bring back S.&H. Green Stamps. No sooner had it crossed my mind that I knew what it was. I went in to gales of laughter.. If anyone had seen me laughing at a cataloge like that they would have Known I was crazy.
Good and bad memories
Hello everyone,
I am new to your group and boy do I have memories. I think most of them are great and some not so. This group sounds like a great idea because people can learn so much from other people. I was born in Brooklyn, NY. A city girl, worked in Manhattan after school before marrying. Many many memories of city life, cement playgrounds, New York City the way it was way back then. Would like to share your memories and learn about your life. Hope to hear from you. madisonlady

Did your teachers have you do this? Form a circle and put your right hand in, put your right hand out, put your right hand in and you shake it all about. Do the Hokey Pokey and you turn yourself around. That's what it's all about!

Would you like to be twenty again?
I wonder, how many would like to be in their twenties again. I like being 63. This way I can pinch a young guys butt, tell him he's a hunk - and do things that I could never do when I was younger. It's okay for me to not do certain things, like cook and blame it on "Oh, I forgot!" It's really great - and it is only a state of mind. As I said before, emotions don't change, only the physical does, somewhat....okay, a lot! ;O)
