Introduction
Hello all,
I just wanted to introduce myself, my beliefs, and experience. I began studying Astrology in 1965-66 as a result of reading Carl Jung's Synchronicity. I took it upon myself to disprove the subject once and for all in response to an assignment in college. While I did find quite a bit in Astrology publications that was trash or at the minimum questionable, I was never able to disprove the mother science. I do not consider myself an astrologer but a humanistic astrologist (one who studies the subject). My greatest lessons were from the works of Carl Jung, Dane Rhudyar, Michael Meyer, and Marc Edmund Jones. I prefer the Campanus House System over others as many humanists do. I prefer an equal house system for transit interpretation. I am convinced of the validity of the science. The weakness lies in the human ability to interpret what they see based upon analysis and synthesis. I know that an astrological interpretation is an art AND a science. In any case, I'd love to meet kindred spirits and to answer any questions regarding my experience and etc.
Respectfully, Itswagon

THANK YOU...
...WriterGal for your invitation. I see many kindred spirits here!
Once again - no coincidence
I didn't really expect to be posting again. I'm usually just a "reader". But I am trying to be aware of "happenings". So...on Tuesday evening I was hosting a slot tournament where I work. As one of the groups was playing, I said "Alright, who's getting a jackpot tonight? I feel a jackpot." They aren't the norm and I've probably had 5 or 6 in the last year. Then I joked and said "Well, maybe within the Casino" because that was much more likely. We had 2 within that tournament. Coincidence?
BEING OPEN AND TO THE OBVIOUS, NOT OBLIVIOUS

BEING OPEN AND TO THE OBVIOUS, NOT OBLIVIOUS
By Harriette J. Schwartz
“I believe in the afterlife and no matter how hard I try or ask them to visit, my loved ones send no messages from the other side.” This is something I have read countless times here on MEDIUMS AND LOST PALLIES. The disappointment breaks my heart. I personally cannot relate to this as Jay, my late husband almost immediately began to let me know he was still around. I think Jay fought so hard to live, he may not have immediately been aware he had passed. Still, prior to his death I never heard from my father whom in life I had adored. Partly this was out of fear; fear of the unknown and partly to my ignorance about messages from beyond. Still, I too felt the need to know daddy was okay wherever he was.
I did not comprehend what an ADC or After Death Communication from the departed was supposed to arrive as and I think that is the heart of the matter for most who believe but do not receive. In one case for me, it arrived in the form of an actual letter. You see, a card I had properly addressed, posted and sent to my Mother-In-Law Rose a year before she passed away was mysteriously returned to me, months after she left us. This is most certainly an exception. The rule however is a lot more vague and brief, so we have to be on the lookout pallies. Remember if you can at all times that there simply are no coincidences and things always happen for a reason. So basic, but also very true.
For instance, dream visits can be snippets, a bit or a piece here or there. You may not even remember them upon awakening, they may come to your memory over breakfast or later on in the day. Keeping a dream journal can help here. It is said that thinking about a lost loved one just before we fall asleep and even putting a picture of them under your pillow or by your bedside and talking to them before you sleep might help to bring them to you. This for me is the most common form of visits from the spirits around me.
Messages can come and go in the blink of an eye, so keep yours open. Some of what we chalk up to happenstance or coincidence is simply not. Have you ever smelled a scent and connected it to a lost loved one; or suddenly you begin to find coins, dimes or nickels; or a song plays on the radio and they are in you mind again? The phone rings, you answer and nobody is there. Even something as simple as this is the spirit world "calling" out to us. The point is, After Death Communication or ADC is generally fleeting and we can sometimes miss the moment because we perhaps have a preconceived notion of what the ADC should or will be. That what in our mind we expect it to be. Being open also means being vigilant enough to view these things in a different light. As I grow spiritually I have come to understand that other instances in my life were indeed "messages". Spirits reach out to us in so many different ways.
I don’t know about you, but when I get there I am going to try and be clearer about what I am trying to say if possible! For now we simply must practice the art of thinking outside the box pallies. Perhaps it will help us to keep our glasses at the very least, half full of the love and light which awaits us all.
Can Someone
Can someone who is angry actually create problems and pain in another's family. In the last eight years we have had so many things happen in our family that are very difficult. Could someone be doing something to make these things happen. Just seems like there is so much and it never ends.
Just Happy to Be HERE
Hey, thank you for the invitation.
I really don't like to think of these things as "paranormal" because in my mind, they are perfectly normal! I don't like to sensationalize.
I am interested in metaphysics, and am currently reading/studying a great book called "Writings of the Mysteries of the Universes" by a close associate of mine, Beverly Thompson who channeled all of the writings. This book is best read, re-read and discussed with others as the concepts get pretty deep. A lot of the book deals with advanced metaphysical concepts. (can be found at Amazon.com)
I enjoy meditating, reading spiritual writings, and for fun, watching "Most Haunted". I also play a Native American flute.
I am an art educator, artist, designer, and am working on a series of drawings that explore the unversal connections we are all a part of.
I also sell a great line of skin care products that actually WORK, and are based primarily on plant extracts. (I am starting a group, called "Love the Skin You're In" check it out!)
I will keep in touch!
Love and Light,
Laura K.

There Are No Coincidences
Hello New Friends,
This is my 1st real post. I am not real good at blogs, IM, etc - not because I don'thave things to say - just don't quite get how it all works.
But once again, I am amazed by "coincidences" of which I have had quite a few over the past 25 years. So here's the "lastest" version and how it started many years ago.
Back some 30 years ago I lost my Dad to cancer. He AND my uncle were railroad men. I live in MN but he grew up in Arlington NE as did my mom so he was buried there.
I would try to visit atleast once each year as I had a Very Special Aunt Bev, and my cousin Lori. When I did make it down, I would buy some flowers and Lori & I would take them out to the cemetary to my Dad's grave, and visit other graves there. The 1st time we went as I was standing at my Dad's grave - a train whistle blew. My cousin & I both laughed and said Hi to my Dad. To make a long story short, the whistle has blown everytime the 2 of us made it out there. I asked my uncle if they blew at certain intervals, like every 1/2 hour or hour. He stated that was not the case. The train schedules were very sporadic. So my cousin & I just give thanks and say "HI I love you" when the whistle blows.
My uncle and mother died, and all that was left for the past 8 years was my dear Aunt Bev. Saturday morning my cousin called to say that the night before, Aunt Bev sucumbed to the pneumonia she had battled so many times before. Lori and her brother were with her when she died - and - the very moment after she took her last breath - you know it - a train whistle blew! To them (and me) it was my Uncle Buzz letting us all know he was there and sooo happy to have her with him.
After I got off the phone, I was so sad. Not for my Aunt Bev for she was finally free from pain, but of course for myself - as she raised me like her own, and she was the last elder relative I had. I told her how much I loved her and prayed for a sign she had heard.
We were at the time up North at our cabin (in MN). The cabin is on an island and pretty much all built up. Over the years (27) we have spent up there we are very lucky if we see an eagle fly over. They are so magnificent!
So I was sitting out on the patio, watching my lab and little lap dog sniff around. All of the sudden my lab looks up (she doesn't miss a bird or plane), so I do too. It was a beautiful eagle. It was very low - like 3 or 4 stories, and it came in from the west, made a wide circle over our lot, then headed east. While circling I watched it carefully and awesomely as I thought perhaps the eagle was mistaking my 16lb. lap dog for a "bunny". One circle and it was gone. This was in the morning. In early afternoon I took my book out on the patio to read and enjoy the sun. My lab was out, but not the lap dog. Mauer looks to the sky, I look to the sky, and in from the west, circle, out to the east. Beautiful!
Then finally around 3 I went out on the patio one last time to watch the boats and the lake - this time by myself - no other people or dogs. Here came the eagle - same pattern, so close, so beautiful. Then it hit me! Could this be a sign from Aunt Bev? No way! She was not into wildlife, birds, or anything I knew remotely connected to an eagle.
That evening I was out with friends and Lori called my cell ph to give me the funeral times/arrangement. As the call was about to end I said "I have something to ask you - and this is SO weird! Did your mom ever like or have anything to do with eagles?" Lori responded "Well yes, she was a member of the Fremont Eagles Club her whole life!" I told my cousin the story and we both cried tears of joy.
Coincidence?
I have had too many stories happen to me and told to me by others to think - yes. In my heart these are no coincidences, but our loved ones touching our hearts and lives from the other side.
If you have had any "coincidental experiences", I would LOVE to hear about them.
If you don't want to reply to this and instead would like to tell your story more privately, feel free to - oh gosh - email me? As I stated in the 1st paragraph - I'm not very smart when it comes to communicating w/a whole community!
God Bless!
