Greetings from MA
I thought this website was a great idea, I stumbled across it by accident and decided to stay. I live in central MA, have three grown children, three grandchildren and would like to correspond with people from all walks of life. I like to get other's opinions on current events, books, movies, hot topics. This seems like a great way to "get together".
Hi out there!
My kids use MySpace all the time, so I hope Eons.com is just as fruitful for me as MySpace is for them! I'm 51, and recently moved with my husband to his hometown to live near his mother to help her with dealing with dementia/Alzheimer's. I'd like to make new friends here and online. Our kids are 24 (son) and 21 (daughter); she just got engaged, so we'll add another "son" in a couple years when they marry, and we love him already. I like old movies, walking, reading (usually fiction), and cooking (especially sweets, which I don't really eat anymore! LOL) I hope I get to "talk" to some of you!

I'm new
Thank you all for inviting me to your group. I hope I meet a lot of new friends.
Hi again,
You know, you retire and move to live your dream and then you get busy. Real life just has its own way with you. At least it has with me.
This spring I had my gall bladder out and found that I have High Cholesterol. YUK. Then the car broke down. That is not a good thing when you live 45 miles from everywhere.
Then the water heater goes out. I don't think we have enough wood to burn all winter. We had some snow already. Today is 75 F. so not needing too much wood yet.
Now things are calming down. We all three got nice hot baths today for the first time in 3 days. I was heating water on the stove.
I thought I could just read and crochet and watch tv and play on the computer, but NOOOOOO.
Thanks for letting me vent. I feel so much better now.

Hello everyone
Thanks for inviting me to your group! This will be great fun. I live in the mountains of Colorado. I am married and have a dog named Buddy. My children are all grown and I have 3 children, 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. I think he is great! Can't wait to hear from others.
Hello
Thanks for inviting me to this new group! I'm a postal worker living on the Gulf Coast - getting ready to retire at the end of the year. I have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren. Will be moving back to my native state of Arkansas when I retire. Can't wait!!! Love concerts, theater, old movies, Jeopardy and dramas on TV, and work crossword puzzles to keep my mind sharp! Have a schnauzer named "Mr. Bojangles". I've been singles for 13 years. Took care of my parents (both had Alzheimer's) since 1993. Lost my Dad in 2002 and Mom in 2004. Thinking about getting back into the "dating world", but don't know where to start! My name is Beverly.
