Photoshop 7 not working in Leopard
I recently gave my grand niece a MacBook with OSX 10.5 for use at college and loaded Photoshop 7 on it thinking that once opened the "system" would revert to the classic mode and run as always.
Nope! Then I spent a whole day, researching and discovered that some folks actually rewrite some of the code (reversing LPPA to APPL) and other technical jargon. Heard also that one could partition the hard drive to include OS 9.2 but nothing would print.
Anyone else experience this? What are some alternatives to solve this problem?

Ok Pete, I'm here
Pete,
Collieflower suggested I contact you. Let it be known that I bought a macplus in '87 and haven't looked back until I needed a pc for business this past year specifically for one client.
This morning I logged on to eons and discovered three new things (first time ever) the first is the window that I have to click off before even entering eons (longevity thing) and all the banners up and below as well as those windows on the sides are full of , yep, you guessed it, "enhancemet crap" and now I can't get rid of them...I posted 3 photos of my screen. I asked about this in Whattdya think group thinking it might be an Eons problem. Apparently one of these on the home page is eons doing because of a campaign they're running with USA today. But the other ones are still there this morning as well. and yes I obviously got your PM.
I'm using a Mac OS X, newest firefox, I have all my popup blockers on and in system preferences have every aspect of my firewall on as well. Tried rebooting in safe mode and manually deleting any adware/adbots, and my MacScan says I have no adware on the computer. Now, I also use my brand new ACER with Vista to log onto eons. These banner ads are there too!
I don't go to sites advertising "enhancement products" don't use the eons longevity thing and am remotely aware that Macs don't get infiltrated by adware usually.
