Facility/Construction Management

I am a professional Building Operations, Facility, and Construction Project Manager. I have 20+ years experience and am looking for a new job after being laid off the end of 2007 from a company where I was employed for over 10 years. I had a consulting position from January through the end of April and have been on the market since that time.

I live in the MetroWest area of Massachusetts and am interested in networking or hearing of any opportunities in the Boston/MetroWest areas.

Thanks.

Looking for Legal Secretary - Paralegal Job

I just moved to Orlando and love it except for the fact that I haven't found a job.

If anyone knows of a law firm with a job vacancy, please let me know.

I am exhausting every method I can think of to keep looking and applying, so I thought I try this post as a new approach.

I enjoyed checking out the boards and posts. This is a nice place, and I hope it stays that way!

Good luck to everyone, may the right job be here soon!

Thanks for listening,

Cathy

Home-Based Business

Hi Everyone! This is my first post on Eons, and I look forward to reading all of your posts and getting to know you through this site.

My husband and I have started a home-based business, working it part-time for now. We help others who are interested in starting their own home-based business. The initial investment is VERY low and the pay plan is extremely generous. Believe it or not, this is the PERFECT time to start a home-based business when you are working with businesses everyone uses everyday, regardless of the enconomy.

If any of you, or anyone you know, are interested, please let me know and we will see if a home-based business will work for you.

How Do I Find A Grant Writer?

How do I find someone who would write a grant for me? I am in desperate need of finding someone that could fund a program I am in that helps Alzheimers and autistic individuals. It helps get there life back and helps them to enjoy it! If you need more info please tell me.

6-1% Unemployment Eeeeek!

I was hoping it would stay at 5.5, guess we can't be so lucky. I hope everyone that is looking finds something soon. The minimum wage jobs are out there if you don't mind working in retail stores but living on minimum wage is tough.

Good luck to everyone and many hugs coming your way.

A great way to find a job-the untapped job market

I haven't had much luck with the online job sites as far as getting responses from employers, nor have I had any luck with the job recruitment agencies I am registered with, but....I decided to just start phoning places at randum and have been finding jobs that way. Some places don't advertise their jobs, it's just word of mouth, or if you phone them or write them to inquire and send them your resume then they will tell you one way or the other. Just thought you should be aware of this, it might work for you. One place I phoned today said, yes, they have an opening and then gave me their fax number to fax over my resume. If you don't have a fax machine, Office Depot stores can do it for you.
