Has anyone created a baby blanket using the washcloth pattern? My washcloth pattern is k2, yo, knit to end of row; repeat until 47 stitches, then k1, k2tog, yo, knit to end of row, repeat.
For a baby blanket, I would like to know what size needles, longest row # of stitches, and how much and type of yarn is recommended.
My sister-in-law saw one that was very fluffy and soft but didn't have the specifics. Any help would be appreciated. Lynette
Hi all - my name is Lynette. Turned 50 in Dec, so I guess I qualify as an eligible infant on eons!
I've known how to knit since grade school, but put it down until about 3 years ago, when my terminally-ill sister asked me to make some dishclothes. Since she was my original knitting teacher, she is always with me, especially when I pick up those needles!
Most of my projects now are felted purses (thanks to my sister-in-law turning me into an addict). Fun, the final result is always a surprise!
Hope to get to know many of you here!
