Has anyone seen "The Reader"
I just saw this award winning movie and I cant for the life of me understand why a movie about a Nazi guard who killed hundreds of woman, was an illiterate pedophile, and eventually killed herself was romanticised in this film. What am I missing?

I'm a NYC lady lost in the depths of Dixie. We have a nice Temple herein Mobile but most folks are married, have lived inthe south for generations, and don't include singles in thier activities. So, I need all the friends I can get. But I stay because my Baptist grandchildren are here! Oy Vay!
