Today I received a catalog from FINGERHUT advising I had been PRE-APPROVED FOR CREDIT.
The front cover (black background with wide yellow banner) had spot for an attached credit card.
IF there was a credit card attached to the cover, it was no longer there. However, the catalog has my name, addy, customer number and a catalog number in at least two places.
I've reported this situation to the state police at/about 1610 hours today's date of 2012-1-06.
I have been doing a lot of checking.... PLEASE, PLEASE...be advised that if anyone uses the numbers assigned to you, you will be billed and held responsible for the amounts and interest... verified
Catalog can be years old and the above WILL STILL APPLY. verified
I called Better Business Bureau.... Company has had numerous complaints and per the BBB "closed down"... per BBB recordings (between 1600 and 1700 hours today's date)
This coming Monday, I will call the KY State Attorney General's office and the Owsley County Prosecutor.
As always with this type of post, I understand if the M/M's of the group remove it.

CSA is a partnership between growers and consumers where their members share costs of supporting the farm and in turn receive the food grown and generally harvested the day of delivery.

Next visit Jester Park. This 1,800+ acre park is located on the western shore of Saylorville Lake and offers camping, golfing, boating, and a wide variety of outdoor recreation opportunities. The park is home to bison and elk herds and a unique children ’s playscape.

Weaving through central Iowa is the High Trestle Trail. This 25-mile trail is a 10 feet wide and perfect for all forms of pedestrian use. A highlight to the trail is the massive High Trestle Bridge. The bridge is 13 stories high, a half- mile long and is the longest biking bridge in the Midwest. Groups may enjoy a horse drawn wagon drive of the bridge or they may also walk the trail. Don’t forget your camera because the views from the bridge are amazing.

Finish the afternoon with dessert and a tour of the Pickett Fence Creamery. Th is family owned and operated dairy farm pasteurizes and bottles milk o nsite. Their country store offers skim, 2% and whole milk, butter, ice cream, whipping cream, cheese curds and other non-dairy products. The milk is 100% natural and produced without the use of artificial hormones. A visit isn’t complete without a slice of apple pie ala mode and a glass of fresh milk!
