back into an apartment
I will be moving from a 1400 sf house i presently own into a much smaller apartment withing the next 6 months or so. (fallen pray to foreclosure monster) and since i have always been a fan of the home shows and have performed many of the fix-ups in my own home, how do i adapt/adjust to apartment life? i haven't lived in any apartment for over twenty years and really don't want to live in a basic white box. any suggestions?

Since it seems a lot of you like the designing shows, I have a challenge for you.
A British Library feel using Girly Girl furniture and a few other pieces.
My daughter wants her bedroom to have a British library feel. Enclosed will be pictures of what I have to work with.

quick fix for kit/bath/patio spaces
fun/pretty display for country kitchen feel in small spaces. i'm even thinking of hanging on the wall instead of placing in window as originally planned.
(my kit is newly blue/yellow/white-cheap but pretty spruce up).
