Step Back into a 1950s Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day! I added an album for pictures of holidays at the museum.
I have started it with some pictures of Valentines on display and of Patti PlayPal

Step Back Into a 1950s Christmas ! We’ve “Decked our Halls"
Saturdays December 4, 11 and 18, 2010
1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Donation $3.00 for adults; 12 and under free.
Advance Tickets on sale from Park Forest Historical Society board.
Coming from out of town or have a small group? Contact us at parkforesthistory1 at yahoo.com. Small group appointments may be possible.
The museum is located at 141 Forest Blvd in Park Forest, Illinois, in an original rental townhome in America's Original GI Town.
Take a break from the hustle and bustle of 21st Century holiday preparations to spend some quality time getting a good dose of Holiday Nostalgia. Decorations from the 1950s are in every room. Remember Gurley Candles and Rosbro plastic figurines? Dolls, toys, and games will bring back memories to share. Operated by the Park Forest Historical Society; sponsored by Central Park Apartments. Closed in January.
