Memories of Thanksgivings Past ~
The last Thursday in November, we recognize our day of Thanksgiving! Set aside by our founding-fathers as a day to give thanks for all that we have in this great nation, under God.
Remembering the reasons why our ancesters traveled so many miles, leaving behind family and friends, over treacherous oceans and even when arriving here, faced hardships that were unexpected and unknown to them.
On this Thanksgiving day, 2009, let's all be thankful and offer prayers and thoughts of gratitude for what we have and have accomplished in our lives.
God bless.... Jimmy.

one for the dogs
Alwander the Great owned two and built a temple to honor them When Pizzaro attacked te inca kingdom he brough a small pack with him. Mastiffs those large dogs with loose skin and i always thought passive, I guess once they were trained as battle dogs, the incas were fearful of them. I cannot see why never owned one had an aquaintaince who had a "bull mastiff a ilght brown small horse basically just slobbered and enjoyed being scratched guess they quickly had their aggressiveness bred out,

Plymouth
This time of year, I always think of Boston, and Plymouth Plantation. It's so authenic with a real setting, and role playing - Wonderful history to see. Also, the Mayflower 2, Plymouth Rock. The whole State, and the Boston area is so rich with history! I'm sure some of you have been there. If not, I highly recommend it. New England folk are so proud of their history.
anniversary of battle
Napoleon and his army of France were challenged by the “allies” under the military leadership of Tsar Alexander. The evening of December 1Napoleon rides into the camp of his soldiers. One decides to light a torch to guide him through the camp unbeknownst to the soldier one by one of the grenadiers light up a torch so Napoleon is riding between over 20 thousand lit torches with the men chanting vive la blue Napoleon is deeply touched and writes that that evening was his greatest as a general on the other hillside the Austrian commander looking through a field glass misinterprets the entire event and tell the Tsar that the French are retreating and burring their munitions. To sum up quickly December 2 by 8 AM the battle of Austerlitz begins and Napoleon triumphs destroying both the Russian infantry and their cavalry as wells as the army of the Austrian empire
