Ride and the View

I was on the road to nowhere leaving nowhere far behind
The road was wide and empty
I had methedrine on my mind
That car was travin' so damn fast
There was nothin' I could do
So I just sat back and closed my eyes
And went along for the ride and the view

I was laying on my hotel bed
There was a hooker on the floor
I just gave her all the money I had
And she whooped me untell I shouted
nomore nomore nomore
That girl was movin' so damn fast
There was nothin' I could do
So I just sat back and closed my eyes
And went along for the ride and the view

I was on the road and howlin'
A zoned out romeo
When a thousand golden hair angels asked me if I was ready to go
I said no
My time was travin' so damn fast
There was nothin' I could do
So I just sat back close my eyes
And went along for the ride and the view

Anyone remember it?
One of the greatest drug songs IMHO

Stereos

Do you haveTurntable? CDs/ Both?
Speakers, large or satelites.

I sold my B&o turntable and bought a Project/one. Still use large speakers. An old pair of Sansui's with those great wooden grills. I use those for my Tv. I upgraded to a pair of Mirage for my stereo. Still using my GAS amp and preamp that I bought in the mid 70s for power. How about cassette decks? still have one? I do and I still use it.

Keeping Roger crazy

Do you know your daughter
and do you know she's dreaming
Do you know your daughter well
talk to her soon
Do you know your daughter
and do you know she's dreaming
You know as well as I do
She stays higher than the moon

And do you know your sister well
and did you know she's drinking
Do you know your sister well
you know I think she's losing
you know as well as I
she stays higher than the moon

(chorus)
Thanks for the information
thanks but no thanks for the information thanks but no thanks for the information
Couse informations got your number too.

And do you know your brother well
and the company he's keeping
Do you know your brother well
talk to him tonight
Do you know your brother well
he's very very strange they tell
Probably he'll go to hell.

(chorus)

Yes I know my daughter well
and yes I know she's dreaming
Yes I know my sister well
and Yes I know she's drinking
How do I bitch at her for somthing
she already knows
And yes I know my brother well
and the company he's keeping
Yes I know my brother well
he sings a differant tune
Yes i know my brother well
I've heard that hes queer as hell
Pray that he's in love as well
Higher than the moon

Chorus

This just posted at Drawing and Painting

I usually get into trouble when I think too much,
I posted this today on the eons help/suggestions ...
I posted this today on the eons help/suggestions area:
Dear Eons,

While scrolling I happened to click on the electronic greeting card link quite by mistake, and noticed that Pamela's art isn't that wonderful by my standards. I'd say it's mediocre but that's just my opinion. And if I offend anyone, I'm apologizing in advance.

I belong to various groups, one of which is the drawing and painting group. Then I had a thought.

There are almost 100 of us there who do amazing art. And most of us sell these to private individuals using our own resources. I also belong to the Art group and Investing in Art group, both of which have seemed to fizzled while the drawing and painting group is growing daily, but I digress...

Mt thought was that if eons offers a commercial link to a mediocre commercial artist already, why couldn't you offer our work to the entire eons community? (as sort of an online gallery).

As a professional web master and designer, I provide my client's sites with as many related links as possible to get as many combined "hits" as they can because one never knows who will stop by and buy something of theirs, and fortune (as well as google) favors this approach.

It's a win win for both of us. Galleries charge us between 35 - 60% not counting the fees we pay just to hang our art. You could set up a sign up fee for a set amount, and we seniors could post our offerings in the same way we post our images already. We, being responsible citizens already, would handle the transactions privately but you could oversee this with a simple "complaints" process should the need arise.

It's a thought. And a good one. Our fee would pay for the administration of the gallery, and our sales would encourage more senior artists to join eons because word would spread quickly, believe me.

Maybe you could post a reply on the painting and drawing group's area.

Oh, and I'm going to post this on our groups board to get their suggestions as well.

artistinmaine

I know there should be some interest here.
I suggested that it would have many catagories. That way it would leave no group out. What do you think?
