Shaping up for may more years

I and my husband had been overweight for years, we got some great help and have lost loads of weight between us. We are not quite done yet but we are pretty close, whilst this has certainly helped to improve our health generally my husband had major heart and cholesterol problems. Our doctor advised various medication which he had to take but he was really unhappy with the side effects so had a look around to see if there was anything else we could do. By chance the people who were helping us to lose weight mentioned their heart health range, so we took a look and asked our doctor who gave us the okay. As it turns out our diet company has the nobel prize winner for heart related products making products for them!!Bingo, we got old man started on some products and his turnaround has been phenominal. His cholesterol has dropped from 278 to 217 within a year, some also due to the weight loss but its amazing what is right under your nose. Even our doctor is surprised by his progress, it has no doubt extended our lives together. We are still not in great shape but we are healthier now than we have been for probably the last twenty years. It just goes to show that the answers are out there and sometimes you just need a bit of luck to find them. I am hoping our luck continues to be good..for a very long time. Jennym

strong immune system

Our body is designed to heal itself if we supply it with the correct nutrients. You can stop "normal" aging is an article that was in the Miami herald this sunday in the Parade(March 18)The Dr wrote that we grow news cells everyday!
With this in mind I believe if we take the right supplements daily we will keep getting healthier and not the opposite. It is very wise to invest in your health because when we are healthy we are happy and life is good. All my family is taking these 100% natural 100% absorbed supplements which are basically FOOD FOR YOUR CELLS feeding our immune system which in turn is strong enough to fight off all diseases and we build new healthy cells daily! My 85 year old mother has been taking these glyconutrients and her breast cancer is shrinking!my husbands cholesterol dropped 40 points just by taking these glyconutrients. Please see my website www.mannapages.com/nlarsen
stay healthy happy and live long.

Private Fee For Service - Health Ins

I am new. Has anyone had good or bad experience with these PFFS Plans(Medicare Supplement Ins)?
Any particular private carrier that has done a good or poor job of providing PFFS supplemental health insurance?

Weight Training-the Fountain of Youth: J. Vedral

Hello. Wow. What an amazing positive group you are. I'm happy I found you.
I must say that I find working out with weights is the fountain of youth. Not only will you reverse the outward signs of aging (you'll tone everything up) but the inward signs: You'll build bone, improve balance, increase strength, improve posture..I could go on and on. Anyone else tried it? Joyce Vedral

Why your Weight training failed Warmina-Joyce V

Hi Warmina
Wow. You spent hours sweating in a gym. I spend 20 minutes a day six days a week in my home with simple dumbbells.
If you know what you're doing that's all it takes. See my photos (my blog). I'm 63 and not touched up!! You can't afford to give up on weights--even if you don't care about how you look (they will have to call security when you go out) your inner body, bones, posture, energy all need the weights workout!! Nothing can take it's place. Love Joyce Vedral

My Experience: Joyce Vedral here

I know what you mean-- I too got out of shape after a divorce and being a single parent and went to the gym--but that became too much for me. I found that working out with dumbbells at home TRIPLED MY PROGRESS at the gym. But you have to know what you're doing. I only have to work out 20-30 minutes a day. (Look at my photo). I'm 63!! Let me know if you want to know my secrets.
Love Joyce
