Snowed In, In Denver
Well all, today is the 2nd day of being trapped in Colorado. I believe we have at least 2 feet of snow and in some places much more than that. All roads in and out of the state are closed at least until Friday. People have been stranded everywhere. What a blessed and beautiful day.

Those were the days my friends...we thought they'd never end...
They have not ended in our minds.
I still have my rollerskates complete with skate key. Now if I could find the right shoes........

No more Blue Christmas
Christmas is---"Merry", "White", "Happy", "Very Merry", "Blessed"--you get the drift. The only "Blue" Christmas I know about is in the old Elvis song. I, for one, could dwell on some very negative things happening in my life right now, but why? It won't change anything, and it won't make it go away. If, on the other hand, I choose to focus on positive things, such as "Hey, I woke up this morning" and "I can walk", or "I'm not hungry or homeless", my whole day is joyful. We're all old enough to know about good "Juju" (as I call it). If you radiate good cheer and positive energy, that's what you recieve in return. Turn those frowns upside down!

i'm a firm believer in staying young but don't believe in botox and the other assortment of looking young remedies advertised. remember wrinkles are earned and a sign of accrued wiseness. you are what you are, so be what you are.
