My Good News
Hey friends. My daughter had a baby the day after SuperBowl. He is a beautiful baby boy and weighed in at 7 lbs. 12 oz and was 21.5 inches long. She went two weeks early and thank goodness, he was big enough.
The funny thing is that my daughter went into labor during the Super Bowl with both her boys two years apart and she doesn't even like football.

My Bad News
Two weeks ago I was laid off from my job. And it was a damn fine job too. Well, I'm considering myself "temporarily retired" rather than unemployed, it sounds so much better.
We'll be okay financially for a while but I'm too young to retire for good. So I'm looking around. In the meantime I'm helping my daughter with the new baby and doing some spring cleaning.

A St Cloud Mn 5th grader was hit by his school bus today.The bus driver a 74 year old man didnot realise he had hit the boy. Give me a break at 74 he is to old PMOM

What Has Everyone Been Up To?
Here in NYS we have been out cleaning up snow, may have a bit again today. W
Work has been busy, normal busy but still takes away from being here.
We had major surgery done on our little Doxie Reese,it was a do now or put her down kind of situation so we went for it. She is doing extremely well and we are so glad we had it done. She had a herniated disk removed in her back, a VERY common thing in Doxies.That was the 18th of Jan, she is back just about 100% already! She just has a little hitch in her get along every once in awhile, and even that is dissipating. She is still away from the other dogs but I do let her have some time with the other small one and when the other 3 are out she gets to play out of the pen. Gosh, she gets up on her hind legs and walks ...can't believe it.Trying to keep her quiet has been a challenge to say the least...your turn ( =
