Grandkids out of state
I live in northern ca. We have 3 grandkids in Utah. We have 3 in MN.
One way I kept in "touch" was to purchase online Toontown where we'd all learn to play, play online together, enjoy and love the game.
Another way was to send spontaneous gifts. I love Halloween. I sent each family a gift they can't open til 10/1. It's a remote tarantula.
Fortunately since an empty next, better job, financial little gold mine happening, we have the money to fly to or fly in our kids.
We had an awesome road trip to TX with my daughter-in-law and Utah grandkids. We all didn't know how it would go. So fun!
We're flying them in October for a visit to our new home, and for them to take their ham radio test.
