Let us wish youns a very happy and blessed New Year. We hope everyone had a great Christmas too.
OK we are going to open the room and make it public BUT the Ladies wanting to join will have to be approved by my or one of our Moderators. We need to see if we can get this room working this year and PLEASE, let your friends know about our site and start posting. I know a lot of youns have question to ask and things to post. You can even ask for different recipes or post some great recipes for us all to share. If you went to a special place let us know where and post pictures. Let us know what youns have been up to, and post pictures we love PICTURES. This is a great site and we don't want to have to close it because of inactivity so lets keep posting and let your buddies know about our WONDERFUL ROOM.
Also we are looking for another Moderator if you would like to help out please PM me and let me know so we can add you as a Moderator.

Our leader seems to have left us and I don't have the time and/or energy right now to try to keep the group going if we aren't having any visitors. Let me know if the group still has meaning to you and if it does I'll keep trying...

I thought I'd whip up a little breakfast before I leave for the day. Anyone care for some fruit and bagel with me?

Sorry I have been absent for so long. I haven't received a daily reminder in months. I have been doing some traveling, still doing my running, completed another 1/2 Marathon, had a too short visit from my daughter (on tour in Afghanistan) she got engaged while home and is planning a wedding for next Oct here in Vt. Of course work keeps me busy on a daily basis.It is annoying how that gets in the way of my having fun! Have a cold, but have babied myself this weekend and seem to be getting better. Hope everyone is enjoying fall and looking forward to the holidays. I will be spending Xmas in France this year. A short visit with the youngest granddaughter!

Age 8: Looks in the mirror and sees Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty.

Age 15: Isn't happy with anything she sees in the mirror. ("Mom, I can't go to school looking like THIS!")

Age 20: Sees herself as too fat / too thin / too tall / too short / hair's too straight / hair's too curly, but decides she's going out anyway.

Age 30: Sees the same thing, but fixes what she can, and goes out anyway.

Age 40: Sees the same thing, but says "I've had my shower / bath and at least I look clean" and goes out anyway.

Age 50: Looks in the mirror and says, "It is what it is," and goes out anyway.

Age 60: Looks in the mirror and still isn't happy, but reminds herself she's still able to look in the mirror and goes out. Conquers the world.

Age 70: Looks in the mirror and sees wisdom, laughter, and ability, and then goes out and enjoys life.

Age 80: Doesn't bother to look. Puts on her purple hat and goes out to just have fun.

Age 90: Looks in the mirror and remembers the girl who saw Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty and decides she got it right the first time.

OK Girlfriends! We've all been busy and our poor group is feeling neglected. I think it must be time to check in and let us know how you are.

I'll start...I'm still up to my eyebrows in busy with Mom's estate. I have her house nearly cleaned out and have found a really good real estate agent. I had to find a new insurance company to insure the house because the one she had won't insure vacant houses. I haven't worked this hard for years...and saddly my house is beginning to look like it has NEVER been cleaned. One day this will all be done... at least that's what I keep telling myself!

Did you get your clocks set back?
Did you get your fill of candy last night? We had 87 little urchins show up at our door and they all went away when I gave them some candy. They were so cute!
I fixed us a pretty breakfast of french toast and fruit sauce...just in case your "sweet teeth" are still hungry.
