Dozen Roses Maker

I have been on a Natal Orange kick...the last from our tree are just waiting to be eaten. This is the first year we have gotten oranges from our tree and they are wonderful, very sweet!

Our weather has been like Spring this winter and we are still waiting for winter to arrive. It is just in the 60's today but, lots of sun and clear.

Hubby is down with a cold so I stayed home from church today to cheer him up. I think mostly it is allergies but, he doesn't think so....the doctor agrees with me! Some men don't understand as Mom's we know these things..right ladies?

We had a baby bunny looking in our back arcadia door yesterday, I think even the animals are thinking Spring is here. The birds are twitter pating also and preparing their nest.

Monday - Comments and Glitter Graphics!

It's a lovely "COOL" mornng here and there might even be a little frost on the golf course. We are only going to be in the 60's today and a slight chance of rain( I will believe it when I see it)!

Washing is going and my grocery list grows longer every time I walk through the kitchen! My hubby will throw away the pen the next time I pick it up "-) not really but, shopping for groceries is not one of lifes pleasures for him!

of what has seemed a rather long week for me.....strange because I've really not had any issues beyond the "norm" for teaching and coaching....even the weather has been really nice for a "winter"!! Maybe it's just one of those weeks I sometimes get, suggesting it may be time to retire?!

My volleyball team managed a win last night, but just barely.....try as we might, they just are not the most athletic kids....oh well, all they/we can do is keep trying....

Only have students a half day today, then school improvement meetings.....won't bore you with the woes of education - obviously there are many professions faced with issues today - but the No Child Left Behind monster has returned to the national news when I thought it had died.....it needs to die!! Sure wish the "know-it-alls" in the education arena would return to a classroom for a year and see if they sing the same tune?!

OOOPS, on my soapbox again......time for a second cup of French Roast - in the go cup.....have a great Friday and I'll look to visit this weekend....TC

Weather might be right for a "soup" day in many parts. Sure is here in North Texas.

of course, it's 18 this AM with a bit of snow on the ground and major winds on the way this afternoon! Oh well, can't have it all and it's at least nice to "see" the sunshine....With the weather predictions I'm hopeful it will be an indoor day?!

Just brewing some fresh, French Roast from Starbucks so be sure to grab a cup and we can visit for a bit.....I'll be around a while this morning and then back later today.....have a good one....TC
