Thanks for the input on hgh

Thanks to everyone who replied to my post about HGH, I had read most of the articles and I understand the insulin side effects were a problem with some subjects. I would still like to converse with someone 50 or over who is taking it and has been on it for awhile that is also working out.
From what I have found out; weight lifting is the best way to endogenously produce hgh. Working out the legs, especially squats, prompts the body to produce a large number of hormones endogenously.
Also I am happy to report that I am back weight lifting after my hernia repair surgery 6 weeks ago. I did full a leg workout yesterday, including four sets of squats 10 reps, I started with a lighter weight of about 115 pounds so as not to go overboard.
Stay fit
Joe

Human Growth Hormone

I continue to run across articles on the advantages of using HGH after 50, specially if you workout. Has anyone had any experience with this. I know stallone was taking it and he looked pretty good in his last Rocky picture. I am hesitant to try it, but would be interested to talk with people who are using it or have used it that are our age.
Thanks
Joe

Having to wait to start my strenght training

I am a 51 year old male tho works out regularly strenghth training and cardio. I had and umbilical hernia surgery 3 weeks ago and can do nothing but walking for at least six weeks after the surgery. I am really looking forward to getting back into by workouts, the Doctor put a screen inside to help strenghten the lining. I have never had a hernia ( or surgery) before this one which came up in 2006. I am trying to stay optimistic about how long it will take me to get my strenghth back, but I definetely will wait unitl he releases me before I start back.
