Special Thoughts
Hi,
Just wanted to share a few thoughts. I read quite a few books and if something really stands out to me then I copy it over to the blank pages in the front or back of my Bible.
Here are a few:
When in a situation that appears to be hopeless--think about this=
OVERHEAD are the overshadowing wings - Ps. 91:4
UNDERNEATH are the everlasting arms - Deut 33:27
ALL AROUND "the angel of the Lord encampeth round about
them that fear Him, and delivereth them" -PS 34:7
INSIDE, that "peace which passeth all understanding"
Phil. 4:7
also, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind
is stayed on thee: because He trusteth in Thee -
Isa. 26:3

The Bible: Know it in your head,
Stow it in your heart,
Show it in your life,
Sow it in the world.

Just as the winter turns to spring,
Our lives have changing seasons too;
So when a gloomy forecast comes,
Remember - God has plans for you!

Whatever the season of life, attitude makes all the difference.
- - - - - - -
God is only distant when we keep Him distant !
- - - - - - -
We will love God more and experience more of His love by knowing more of His Word and by submitting more of our life to His truth!

The man in Christ is indifferent to praise or blame.
- - - - - -
Worship: Ascribing "worth" to God.
- - - - - - - -
If we walk too close to the world - we will get spotted or splashed from it!
- - - - - - - - -
I destroy my enemy when I make them my friend !

Hope is confidence in what God is going to do based on what He has already done.

If God has not called us home to heaven then He still has work for us to do!

We have been "saved", "sealed", and "seated" with Christ!
