Getting ready!

Well, I finally got my ticket to begin the tredge for home!! I'll be starting my packing and getting myself ready for the 4hr and trip to go spend Christmas with my children. I'm just beginning to get excited but the real excitement starts when i know I have packed everything and this time I'm going to be writing everything down. Last time I went to the States, my suitcase arrived in such a shambles!! The Mex. Gov. usually makes you go thru a line where they open everything you have and search, search, search. Just like up there BUT after the suitcase goes inside, some sneaky people open it again and if they don't "steal" something ( like the last time they took my backup) they turn all your things into a turmoil. This gets me so mad!! The least they could do is put them back the way they found them!LOL So, I'm writing everything down this time. Any other suggestions from seasoned travelers??
One thing they're not going to get rid of is my Christmas spirit and good cheer. So now I will begin to think what I have to take to go to the cold climates of the North!!LOL I still have one more week though! LOL

PublishAmerica Presents Miracles from God by Robert B. Blackmer

Frederick, MD October 20, 2009 -- PublishAmerica is proud to present Miracles from God by Robert B. Blackmer from Smyrna, Tennessee.

This is the heart-warming story of Barbara and the miracles God provided for her. Her hopes, dreams, and ambitions came true as she set little goals to maintain her purpose in life from God. The spirit of God was within her. It is a story of love, warmth, determination, persistence, and courage. The doctors called her their miracle patient. In families where love abounds, in the minds and hearts of health care professionals, and in situations where family members are ill, this book will be a welcomed source of guidance and inspiration.

Robert B. Blackmer is retired military, a corporate executive, a business owner, a public speaker and author of four books. He has appeared on radio and TV. He is a former member of the National Speakers Association, International Speakers Association and the Tennessee Speakers Association.

PublishAmerica is the home of 40,000 talented authors. PublishAmerica is a traditional publishing company whose primary goal is to encourage and promote the works of new, previously undiscovered writers. Like more mainstream publishers, PublishAmerica pays its authors advances and royalties, makes its books available in both the United States and Europe through all bookstores, and never charges any fees for its services. PublishAmerica offers a distinctly personal, supportive alternative to vanity presses and less accessible publishers.

A Taste of Today's "The Writer's Almanac"

It's the birthday of William Blake,born in London (1757). He wrote Songs of Innocence and Experience (1794) and The Marriage of Heaven and Hell (1790). He lived in poverty, ignorant of the rest of the literary world of London, scraping out a living from his trade as an engraver and writing and drawing under inspiration he considered divine. He said about his long poem Milton, "I have written this poem from immediate dictation, twelve or sometimes twenty lines at a time, without pre-meditation and even against my will." He lived in a world of dreams and visions. One day, he and his wife were sitting naked in their garden, reciting to each other passages from Paradise Lost. Blake was not embarrassed when a visitor came by. He said, "Come in! It's only Adam and Eve, you know."

And,
"To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I always felt that Blake was a mystic when I viewed his art work.
The look and feel of his work said 20th century to me, not the age he lived in.
The illumination of his work seems to come from within not from without.
14 billion years
Could have been 14 billion beers.
I have to be honest; why are people so stupid?
Yeah, college is expensive but people don't understand reality.
Even today 29% of kids go to college and only 19% graduate.
Well, that's a statistic.
In America if you are not profesionally employed I suggest you buy a ticket to go overseas and teach English.
Ouch, no...
Trouble is, I'm trying to make this a story but I can't ignore American ignorance; especially when they let their kids go off to war, making excuses to endanger innocent lives.
Most people don't understand economics. I wish it was never my MBA; not because I learned what I did but because of what people didn't know and I couldn't help.
