Hey, thanks for missing me. I was ready to come home after so long, but hated leaving my friends. So, I'm back and busy with home, work, catching up after gone 2 week, etc. You know all the stuff that has to be done. Plus, there was some bad weather here while I was gone so I came home to cleaning up tree branches all over the place. I thought of you, too, and was hoping the Hot Tub would have some activity by now. I'm with you on whatever you want to do after Labor Day. Maybe we need to add a swimming pool? Who knows. Hope all the others are ok.

So sorry to hear about the death in your family. I have visited the tub every couple of days or so, but nothing, nada. How about, after Labor day, you and I contact as many of the regulars as possible and try to get things up and running again. It may not be the same old place. Who knows? Horst ran away with a Swedish waitress from a local pub. He'll be back as soon as her money runs out. You know him! p.s.I've missed you!

Hello guys. It's been long enough now. I went away for 10 days and ended up being gone over 2 weeks due to a death in my family. I'm back, but a busy beaver and a hot tub would be nice, but when I went there no one is there. No towels, no Hoist, no drinks, the water is even cold. What's up guys? Come on out and play PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm getting a complex. Are you? I'm also a prune from being in this water so long listening to the jukebox, relaxing and having drinks. i brought in a water pillow today. I'm going to get us some new toys. Hopefully, after a week, we;ll have some more tubbers. I'm off to VA on Friday, but i'll have computer to check in.

Since you and I seem to be the only tubbers left(at least for now) what say we take a one-week vacation and meet back at Tubside on Monday, Aug. 11. Maybe some of the other members will be back from distant places by then. It's too difficult(and lonely) trying to keep things going by ourselves. How does that sound? Horst can use the time to tidy up the environs, do a bit of gardening, restock the cooler and the bar, and burn some new mix CDs. I'll meet you at the northwest corner of the tub(near the suggestion box) one week from today. Your friend and fellow tubber, Liz

Ok, I'm here. Nice music, Horst is serving good drinks, water feels good. However, I'm alone. Oh, I see Lizzy comihg with her Amstels. Hooray!

Well, this is what happens when the board of Governors and everyone leaves us alone with Horst. Now, he's opening Amstels for frogs. It wasn't a mermaid was it? Have him clean the tub out and get rid of all critters and I'll be back. I was there by myself for hours listening to oldies songs on the new jukebox, but no one showed so I left. Looking forward to some nice drinks, fluffy towels and bubble later on, Horst. Do your job before they fire you. We can't fire a hunk! LOL!

OK, that's it. I found a frog in the tub today, and he was drinking an Amstel Light out of a tiny shot glass. Who opened the bottle for him? Where the heck is horst? I'm afraid the Board of Governors will have to be reconvened. An unprecedented event. Where the heck is the Board of Governors? I am not going into the hot tub until the tipsy amphibian is removed,(I'll bet some of his less fortunate friends are at the bottom of the skimmers) and horst has been found and has tidied things up around here. I'm withholding this week's dues in protest. What's this? The frog is holding up a tiny sign--"The drinking will continue until morale improves." Besty! Skeeter! RKay! HELP!

Betsy is here. Been extremely busy, but have checked in occasionally. Water seems to be cool. Did Horst turn the temp down? The bar needs restocking, too. After all we do have a new member and we need to make a good impression. I just put a nice jukebox out there. Hope it's ok. What kind of music does everyone like?
