Home Page
Hey Robert, we made the Home Page.
New work
Haven't done anything good lately so haven't posted anything. Just the usual stuff that I posted on the other sites. The next piece I feel worthy of posting here, I'll do it in WIP steps. But I look in here often. Been thinking about an oil painting...only ever did 2 or 3 and they stunk.
Cath's Peppers
After seeing your re-work of the white pepper painting, it dawned on me that this would make an excellent group or series of paintings. With many different vegetables or food stuff.
Thank you
Thanks Robert, Cath & Urban for your good professional advice about my book cover. I new it needed some help. Now I have it mostly figured out & will digitally make the changes through cloning various parts. All your tips were excellent. This group is perfect for stuff like this.
Cameras
Cath...Your camera instructions read like the instruction manual. I had a GOOD Minolta digital camera a few years ago. Top Notch and used it for shooting text, close up art & signs etc. Took me a full year to get it all figured out. Paid $400 for it. Last year the flash went out. Called many places to get it fixed. All of them said get a new one & throw it out. That's the best camera I've had in years and I was pissed. I still have it waiting for a miracle to happen. In the mean time for Christmas I got a good Kodak. Now I have to start all over again. It's like driving someone elses new car and trying to figure out their wipers, lights, cruise control etc. And for us oldies, trying to read the radio controls.
Screen Printing
In the "Artists" group, JohnHenryReeves asked about silk screen printing. I've been involved in screen printing directly and indirectly since 1961. And I hope that the discussion in John's group will bring out some facts through the discussion. Please check it if you're interested. It just started.

Prisma Question
For Urban or anyone...Some prisma-prisma pencils seem to draw nice & smooth on bristol while others with the same sharp point leave a beaded texture. Why is that?
Book
If you're interested, go to Drawing & Painting...I posted a WIP for a children's book I am doing the art for.
