Just came in to this site (Eons is so full of surprises!), and decided to join the group. I haven't produced anything in my stoneware workshop for the past year due to economic constraints, but am waiting for an Argentine State subsidy that will purchase materials to get started again. The problem is, nobody in Argentina understands stoneware, and I refuse to do terra-cotta to compete in the traditional crafts market. So I subsist on teaching English and - would you believe it! - etiquette.
Hope to get my hands back in clay in the near future. My favourite things are imaginary beasties and pots, but once in a while I do some serious sculpting, and while I find this emotionally stimulating, it's a time-consuming luxury that's almost impossible to sell.
