Manager Access To Private Information
There may be a compromise available that will let people keep their private information private, while giving group managers the tools they need to keep their groups safe.
When a new person requests to join a private or public-with-approval group, the Eons software would give the manager access to their profile and other private information such as birthdate, no matter what the privacy setting. The information would only be available once the person has sent a request to join.
This would allow group managers the ability to make decisions based on (sometimes) more information than the general public has.
Managers of public groups would not be able to see private information.
This allows me to remain as private as I want to, trading a small loss of privacy if I want to join a private group.
How would this work for people who have their profiles set to friends or private? How would it work for managers? Should moderators have access to this information?

"Recent Messages/Last Reply"
Over the past few days I've had a recurring problem when I refresh my My Eons page.
Often what shows up is a strange database snippet: I'll see everything as it was 13 hours ago, including the correct Recent Messages, and the correct Last Reply 13 hours ago.
The time varies (4 hours, 13 hours, 2 hours, etc) but the effect is still the same: I'm being shown a page that was accurate at that time.
Refreshing works, but sometimes I have to refresh 2 or 3 times to get to the 'real' Last Reply time.
When it is wrong, it's consistently wrong for all the messages. For example it will show me all the messages that *were* current 13 hours ago, and consistently say that the last reply was 13 hours ago. (or however many hours).
I thought it was a server overload issue, but I'm still seeing it today (started Wednesday).

Changing Profile/My Eons Icon Bug
Over the past week, several members have either posted or PMed about problems changing their Profile icon.
I tried to help someone with the issue, and found that, while my Profile photo could be changed, the change did not carry over to my My Eons page.
I used Help/Feedback to report the bug, with a step-by-step procedure to replicate it.
That was Tuesday, and by this morning the wonderful elves at Eons had fixed my photo, so that the test photo on my Profile was now showing on My Eons.
"Great", I thought, "now I can switch back to my real icon."
Nope, the bug isn't fixed. I again have two different photos, one on my Profile and the other on my My Eons page.
While I appreciate the individual attention, what I really want is for people to be able to change their photos all by themselves.

Favorites for Groups: Wish List
I wish I had a spot on My Eons where I could leave links to groups I wanted remember to check into from time to time.
I don't want to add them to my overflowing "New Members, New Photos, New Messages, New Replies" section, which happens if I join them.
I just want to be able to find them again after I've explored and found them the first time.
