Seniorolatry
In my profile's blog I asked why there aren't any nudes of seniors. So here is the first, in pastel, of a volunteer over 50. I have had only 2 volunteers in over 18 months, so please send me some photos/jpegs to work from. Ask your friends, relatives. Gain immortality in a work of art! Maybe we can start a movement to affirm that seniors are beautiful too, and that "beauty" doesn't stop at 25. But I/you need to join the parade with more volunteers.

Orange Sunflower
The painting I added had a title-ID but I don't know where it went. It's a pastel on half a full sheet of Canson Mi-teintes dark blue paper, approx 13x19". The background is Winsor & Newton cobalt blue, the flower Schmincke over an underptg of yellows and browns.

AZViv, Caylinn, Goldenleaves, and others down thar. Urban123, Singsinpants and I could use some warmth up here. It's been below normal for 2 weeks, today in the mid-50s with a cool, strong breeze. Since you're in the 90s, maybe you have some heat to spare?

Briefly, since it's a movie art form: Go Rent IT!!! It's the most powerful film since "Hotel Rwanda." The acting is superb; Marion Cotillard deserves an oscar. And, unconventionally, no nudity or swaring.
