I followed Richard's lead an posted my prettiest Halloween Photo of myself.....Now guys don't be sending me private messages ....I'm married you know......so just admire from afar.......I think it would be fun if we all came up with a crazy picture for Halloween.....for a diversion......How about it.......We will put that under the heading of ECT.....
Fall Colors
Here you go Claybo...I just uploaded my latest painting.....it is a crappy picture...blurry and so forth.....it is my recent attempt at acrylics....I prefer oils....but am trying to give acrylics a chance....This is also a different style of painting for me....Let me have it...(">)
One Flew Over the Coo Coo's Nest
Right now I feel like Nurse Ratchet....About when Mac starting choking her.......No offense to anyone.....I am a peace loving person....and that is what I have tried to do here.....is make peace when there are squabbles...I paint and I write....Positivity is what I strive for everyday...I try to spit in the eye of negativity....and try to find something positive in everything.......and after reading all of these posts.....thats why I feel like my very essence is being strangled.....but with that said...I am also going to try to find something positive in all of this.......and I have.....the kind understanding words of Brightspirit who truly lives up to her name.....the loving kind words of Janefrancis.....who is trying to mother us all....Evilmomlol....and Manitaliano...for his kind words...I love you Claybo and I love Smitty......both of you have stellar qualities.....Am I suppose to choose between you....I can not and it breaks my heart.....Can we now take off the gloves and get back to the business of this group......Can we understand that not everyone sees things the same way....that people are different......You people are my friends I care about each and everyone of you.......and if I can't care about all of you.....and I have to take sides......I will leave......

I am going to try to answer your question from my point of view anyway....I have been writing poetry, free verse, prose, for many years, since I was in high school...I have an incredible need to create....in some form or another.....for me I think it comes from the soul.....something deep inside...where inner most feelings are kept....that needs to be expressed.....I did not start painting until about 3 years ago.....but that allows me to express myself in a different way then writing does.......a different expression but actually expressing the same thing......if that makes any sense.....I think that most artist...creative people....right brain people.....could do both.....if they let the pen do what they let the brush do....express

I wonder what the US would be like today
Would there be buildings and cement everywhere
Would the men all still have braids in their hair
Would there still be cars
Food in jars
Would we still ride horses
through paths and courses
I think we would still grow our foods
and might be in better moods
because we would not have to toil
for another countries oil
I just wondered how it would be
