Ok, we ARE too quiet. Here are my 2 most recent pieces. Finished Froggy Fri. night and started the waterlily. I'm concerned about working in all of the water reflections into the waterlily piece. I'm up for any suggestions as how to make sure I get them in as I feel they are what makes the piece really good. Know the lily needs more work also. I said I was done with Froggy but if anyone sees anything glaring, I can always tweak. The are not real good photos, sorry. Suz
SNOW!!!
Just went out as it finally stopped snowing, East Coaster, know you've had a rough winter but 12" of snow in March is unheard of in So. IN. I'll be spending the day working on a new pastel. Suz

I didn't post before now because I wasn't sure if I even got in but entered 2 pieces in the university library art show. Got notice that I am to receive a merit award on both. They are on my profile, "Toe Tag" and "....and peace be with you". Not the big prize but it's nice to be noticed. Suz

Is Eon's having some hiccoughs. I am getting thing put on my profile with no notice. Got a present and I have gotten comments. I thought we got alerts by email of these things? I don't always go to my profile page. If I've missed some acknowledgements, sorry. Also I have noticed that if someone responds to a comment that you made to them, there is no reference to what it was about....???? Suz

Just finished these 2 small oils...planning a 3rd, close up of a magnolia flower. I'd appreciate any crits, I am still open to corrections. Suz

Storms
Hope everyone is OK this morning considering the storms that swept across the country. Some damage here, but mostly south of me. I don't even think I have a twig off a tree. AND I hope Super Tuesday saw your candidate come out ahead :-) Suz
Missing pix
OK can anyone give me a guess as to why instead of my picture, I get a red "x" It wasn't x rated...honestly!!! I have been working on a portrait of a friends dog. She didn't give me much to work with but I was trying to see if I could make what she gave me work, needed some feed back.....or do I need to go take the pix of him myself. It's going to end up being an oil painting.

The issue has been mentioned that this group is over. I do not think it is. This is at least the 3rd BIG shake up in the year that I've been here. Is it the same group that I joined? No it's not but it's my group. I've said that more than once here. I'll quote my mom when people are grumbling about the minister at church and threatening to quit. She says he's her church, not his, she was there long before him and she's not leaving.
Now what do we need to do to get ourselves back on track? I for one have been to my friends list and have sent out PM's asking people to come back over and get involved if they are interested at all in this group. Hopefully we can get some new views and get back to the topic of art here.
Any other suggestions?

Excitement
Well I've had all the excitement I can take for one day. You know how you cannot tear your eyes away from a wreck :-)....just kidding guys. Sometimes things have to be torn down before they can be built back up.
