My new dog
I have a new rescue, Luke. He has been with us for three days now. This is what I came home to tonight. Looks like Luke is laughing at me. I think they had a good time.

I posted this in my other dog group, but wanted to give y'all an update, too.
An update on Lily. For those of you who are new Lily is a rescue, found in an abandoned house when she was about 6 weeks old. We then found she had hip dysplasia. Her surgery for hip dysplasia was successful, and the doc thinks she is doing so well, that we can put off the surgery on the other hip for now.
I need to measure her regularly and if I see any changes in hip size, then I need to bring her in. I am posting her pic in this post, because she is a black dog, and has the most gentle disposition, and is the BEST dog ever! She has gentle eyes! I hope everyone can spread the word about black dogs! I hate that black dogs have a negative image. They are great. Here is my big girl. She is on the new deck in progress my husband is building, because when he is out, she never leaves his side!
