Old English Mastiff

Hi, I'm Barbara. Just joined your group. I have a 5 year old Mastiff. Small for a Mastiff, 150# but he still wants to be a lap dog.

Anybody else out there with Mastiff's. i would post a picture of him, but still trying to figure out how to do that

Raffle to Benefit Austin Sheltie Rescue

This group also takes in sheltie mixes, and they intervened so that the animal shelter would release Bebe, the 14 year old pom, to me - they saved his life - he would have been ptsl the next day.

The quilts are beautiful - and the doggy adirondack bed is wonderful.
---------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------- ----------------------------

Austin Sheltie Rescue is conducting a benefit to help fund sheltie rescue - the items being raffled are two beautiful quilts, made by a very talented sheltie person, an adirondack dog bed, and a Santa thingy

Why Old Dogs are the Best Dogs

From another list that I am on - a wonderful article

The last word: Why old dogs are the best dogs
They can be eccentric, slow afoot, even grouchy. But dogs live out their final days, says The Washington Post’s Gene Weingarten, with a humility and grace we all could learn from.
