Donny Osmond, Melissa Joan Hart and Tom DeLay are among the 16 new celebrities who will hit the parquet on Season 9 of Dancing with the Stars in the show's largest cast ever.

Making the announcement on Good Morning America, host Tom Bergeron revealed the 16 stars and a twist: In the middle of the season, there will be three double eliminations back to back.

In addition, four new dances will be introduced: the Bolero, the Charleston, the Two Step and the Lambada.

Here are the 16 stars of Season 9:
1. Kathy Ireland, supermodel, author and fashion CEO of Kathy Ireland Worldwide
2. Macy Gray, Grammy-winning singer
3. Melissa Joan Hart, actress and one of the stars on our wish list
4. Mya, R&B singer and actress
5. Ashley Hamilton, actor-comedian and son of Season 2's George Hamilton
6. Michael Irvin, ex-NFL wide receiver
7. Mark Dacascos, The Chairman on Iron Chef America
8. Donny Osmond, entertainer and brother of Season 5's Marie Osmond
9. Kelly Osbourne, singer and daughter of Ozzy Osbourne
10. Debi Mazar, Entourage star
11. Chuck Liddell, light heavyweight champion
12. Natalie Coughlin, 11-time Olympic medalist in swimming
13. Joanna Krupa, model; most recently seen on ABC's The Superstars
14. Louie Vito, snowboarder
15. Aaron Carter, singer and brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter
16. Tom DeLay, former House majority leader

Pro pairings will be announced Aug. 24. Season 9 kicks off Monday, Sept. 21, at 8/7c. What do you think of the new recruits?

I agree with LadyJ6 about limiting the phone calls to ONE vote...They need to do something so POPULAR CELEBRITIES stop winning!

MYA was robbed. DONNY is an entertainer not a dancer not a ballroom dancer. KELLY as LEN said was the one who really did not have any experience dancing and she did improve over the weeks. KELLY by the rules should have been the winner! she was not an experienced dancer and came in raw...i did love that waltz and argentine tango that KELLY did. i think this will be my last season and may swing over to SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE.

THE SHOW'S FINALE WAS ONE OF THEIR BEST INCLUDING PAST DANCER AND THE SEASON'S LOSERS. WHITNEY HOUSTON SANG TWICE, SHE IS TRYING TO COME BACK AND I HOPE GOD BLESSES HER TO DO THAT.

the dances were good, but i was disappointed with the freestyles. i thought there would be more daring and more moves that are not allowed during the regular competition, but it didn't happen....with any of them!

I think it will be Mya, because of her whole season, Donny in 2nd because he is a great entertainer and Kelly in 3rd......but I thought her progress over the season was the best.

I do for Mya. The maximum on my home phone and my cell phone. I do it because sometimes people win who I don't think should have. So I do vote for my favorite.

I was just waiting for them to say Kelly and Louis were out, what a big surprise when it was Derek and Joanna. Anyone think her Playboy spread (done before the show started) might have hurt her?
But yay for Kelly and Louis! Does anyone remember the very first season? He was the first pro knocked off when he was with ...... what's her name, the Bachelorette?

i feel it is between DONNY AND KELLY!...BUT WHO KNOWS after the voting from the fans we may be surprised..

When there were more stars with personality the show seemed more entertaining. With all these stars it seems just more competitive.
However I do think it is one of the best shows on TV
