Dental Care!
I know we have had a number of posts about dental for our babies. But please pay attention to their teeth. I didn’t think about Gingers until it was too late so yesterday she had 13 teeth removed. She’s not feeling real good.
The good news is our vet says there is now a vaccine to help prevent plaque and a additive you can add to their water. I didn’t know any of this until now. If your not getting it you might want to look into it, believe me it’s a lot less expensive than the alternative.

Health Question
I've had the flu or the crude or something for the last few days; low grade fever achie etc. Thing is Ginger is acting all sickly too. So my question is can she catch this from me (because she's the only one who will come near me) or is she just responding to me being sick??
Baking Soda Results!
Well, here's the story. I took Ginger on the back porch and got her to lay down. Then I poured the baking soda in my hand (not on her directly she didn't like that too much) then I began to rub her down real good with it. She laid there with her eyes closed acting like she was glad I had decided to become her personal masseur’. She loved it, she smells much better, and she doesn’t seem to be scratching any more (which I suspect was due to the sweat.) Anyway the first report is that it’s a good way to go between baths.
Baking Soda?
Question??
Ginger loves being outside this time of year, as do many of your babies. I bath her about once a week, but everytime she goes out she gets all sweaty and smells. My wife read that you could rub her down with baking soda between baths to help the smell, but I'm not so sure.
Any of you ever do this and is it ok?

The Wake up Alarm
I have an alarm clock that is set to go off at 7 am almost every morning. It is at that time that my alarm sticks her head out from under her cover and gives those adorable ears a good shake.
That's doxie for "wake up I have to go outside now!"
