November Spotlight ~ BEAUDREAUX
Lovable and handsome Beaudreaux is our Cover Doxie for November! His owner, HarleyFXLR, delights us with the antics of this little guy ~ he is a real character and a heart-stealer!
A day in the life...
This video made me laugh, it reminds me so much of TQ when he's ready to eat. When he's hungry, he wants it NOW! Tipping over his bowls and giving me that look...he's never howled though, do any of yours do that?

Sleep
Do you sleep with your Doxie? We do--we are allowed to get up in HIS bed!! LOL What is the deal with a small dog like them anyway?? We have a Q size bed and when that dog gets in, I hang onto the edge all night, while he stretches out and seems to take most of the bed!!
Does everyone do this for their furbabies??
Mine has a nice bed in the corner of our room, has a blanket, even water right beside the bed, SO what's his problem, having to sleep with us and make us teeter on the egde all night? !!

Doxies are in control
I appreciate the invitation to this site. We lost our doxie, Jessie B. 3 years ago to Cushings at the age of 13. That was the only time I've seen my husband cry. We didn't get another doxie (rescued 2 others) because we were afraid the new doxie wouldn't measure up to the standards she set & it wouldn't be fair. We will be ready soon & notice we do what people used to do to us when we were walking JB: rush up saying AWWW we used to have a doxie & on & on & on. I do miss the dachshund groups in San Diego & never missed the Hallowiennie party. Those dogs in costumes were so cute & each one knew they were the cutest one there. Thanks again...I will enjoy all the memories this brings up & when we get a new girl, watch out for the love gush.
