Obama Afghanistan Timetable
The Afghanistan timetable and reasoning for it made a lot of sense to me. Now it's morphing into what others feel it should be. We need to keep our nose to the grindstone and do the most important things mentioned by Obama. The Afghanistan leadership telling Gates what they think the timetable should be along with monetary help for years to come just doesn't fly. President Obama needs to reiterate to all concerned the time for dilly dallying and risking our young men & women's lives are coming to an end PERIOD. Get it together Afghanistan, it's time to stand up and be counted.

Liberal Group Puts Bounty on Head of Chamber of Commerce CEO
By Judson Berger - FOXNews.com
Chamber of Commerce CEO Tom Donohue is a wanted man -- at least according to the liberal activist group that's put a de facto bounty on his head.
A network of liberal groups known as Velvet Revolution started an ad campaign offering $200,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the man whose trade organization has become a thorn in the side of the Obama administration and congressional Democrats.
The group is not leveling any specific charges of criminal behavior. Rather, it is casting a wide net, fishing for any whistleblowers from Donohue's past who might come forward with allegations of wrongdoing. The campaign against the Chamber was launched in response to the group's opposition to climate change legislation and health care reform, and its plan to spend $100 million lobbying against these and other initiatives.

This action is stunning in it's intolerance. Make no mistake, this is a direct assault against free speech. These thugs are trying to kill the messenger, and thereby scare off anyone and everyone who disagrees with their agenda. True liberals should be horrified. - Silas

Tea Party
Organizers of the tea party movement, like Freedom Works and conservative commentators like Glenn Beck, are considering registering the Tea Party as a political organization with candidates that will run for political office. Their primary platform is against higher taxes and deficit spending.
The tea party was responsible for a lot of the outbursts during the town hall meetings around healthcare reform this past summer, and they had thousands of demonstrators in Washington, D.C. and elsewhere responding to a campaign titled “The Tea Party Express.”
If the tea party movement becomes a political organization than it has the potential of taking votes away from both Democratic and Republican Party’s. There are also rumors that former CNN anchor, Lou Dobbs, might run for congress in 2012 under the Independent Party banner.
Given that a lot of conservatives are alienated by the Republican Party and lots of liberals are alienated by Obama’s policies, especially his Afghanistan policy, do you think that third party candidates have a better chance at being elected to congress in 2012?
As a second question; why is it that you think America only has two dominant political party’s? Most European democracies have and array of political party’s which are all given equal attention but the U.S. seems to be politically bipolar; even though there is a popular belief that most Americans are centrist.
